This was the second time I visited Hibiscus Valley Inn and I can recommend it to everyone who want to live in the jungle, be able to take a morning swim in the river, hear the beautiful birds sing, eat tasty food and be surrounded by positive, great and helpful staff. A amazing experience!

The Hibiscus Inn is not for the high end, all-inclusive set. It is for those travellers wishing to experience genuine Dominican charm, friendliness and sheer natural beauty. That also means that there are lots of 'critters' about and some of them can occasionally find their way into your room! The solution to that is to keep your door closed while...

We had a wonderful stay at Hibiscus Valley. The bungalows are set in a lovely tropical garden, the general atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Hibiscus offer a choice of tours which are a good way to get started on a visit. We appreciated the tasty simple evening meals, which meant we didn't have to go out again (or rent a...

Hibiscus Valley was the perfect location for our teacher retreat. Fantastic service, beautiful surroundings and such a relaxing atmosphere. The Palet bar on the river is a unique and picturesque spot to gather. River tubing was really fun also. Location near the airport would make this an ideal spot to start or end your vacation in Dominica.

We had booked here for one night, only because we had an evening arrival flight at the nearby international (Douglas Charles) airport, and we didn't want to drive (in our rental car) in the dark to Roseau (which on the other side of the island). We had a semi deluxe room with aircon and 2 separate beds. It was a...

The garden house is perfect for basing yourself for an incredible island. Bathroom is an immaculate cave. There are 2 rooms, one with 5 beds, the other the budget double room. It's useful to know in case you get a new neighbour in the evening.

Basic bungalows back to nature. No television, ac, fridge, wifi available at the bungalows. At the room you have a fan and free wifi at the restaurant and bar. It was a nice experience in the middle of the nature. The dinner is really delicious for a reasonable price. The breakfast is less exciting. Keep in mind a supermarket for...

I stayed at Hibiscus some months ago in two different opportunities. Although I was working I had a little time to relax every day and this place it’s perfect for it. I loved my time there! The Valley and garden in the rainforest of Dominica are awesome and so relaxing with different nature noises surrounding you all the time. Also,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hibiscus Valley is a Swedish owned guesthouse with its Dominican family atmosphere. We offer 3 different types of accommodation and 12 min from the airport. With three "Nature bungalows" in Dominican ECO country style, with two rooms in each with own bathroom and exotic veranda, they are situated in a beautiful and calm area next to the beautiful Pagua river, with a natural river pool, the rainforest and the Carib territory. All rooms are situated within a minute walk from the beautiful Pagua river with its natural pools. At Hibiscus Valley Inn, we try as hard as possible to take advantage of what the nature offers without encroaching on comfort. The beautiful garden is seen from all the rooms and the hummingbirds sucking nectar just outside your exotic veranda. Four semi-deluxe rooms with AC and other amenities and a spacious bathroom.A wooden cottage by the riverside, can take 7 persons. Open air restaurants specilize in local cuisine with an international touch.
