We spent four nights at the Rumboat and wished we could have stayed on. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are very well fitted out, and the service impeccable. It is a welcome get-away from the beach-side resorts south of Georgetown, and an excellent base from which to explore the island. The food was lovely, each meal taken on the...

We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed every minute. If you are an independent traveller and want to get to know Grenada slowly - put the Rumboat Retreat on your itinerary.... and a chance to learn about fine-rum appreciation too!

A fantastic retreat, away from everything. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and very nice. The sunset view is amazing. Only thing to be aware of is the price of the dinner (very nice but very overpriced eg dinner for two comprising two dishes and one dessert two beers for US$71). Please book the room that...

So, a few months ago, my boyfriend and I went to Rumboat. We wanted a really adventurous vacation and something very rural and away from normal hotels and beaches which is exactly what we got!! The ONLY problem was the hotel is very difficult to actually get to. The roads near it and leading up to it are filled w/...

Apart from the clean comfortable rooms we were aware of the great care and attention to detail that seems to drive this beautifully situated guest house. This is immediately apparent in the rooms and continues through to the great local cuisine and a selection of rums (and knowledge of the owner about those rums) that would be hard to match...

I could tell you about the excellent food Lisette makes but I won't. I could tell you about the awesome view and relaxed environment this place have but I won't. I won't even describe the excellent service received. All I will tell you is that, when you find a little present on a turn down bed in the afternoon, the...

Lisette, the owner, and her team were excellent hosts. The room was comfortable. The food was excellent...my husband particularly enjoyed the dinner rolls. And the location is very quiet and relaxing. We definitely recommend you stay there when you go to Grenada.

I can't say enough good things about the Rumboat. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful, and always willing to help out, should you need anything. They took care of all of the details for having a car meet us at the airport and also for a sailing excursion. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is quiet...

We really loved the Rumboat Retreat! We were greeted in such a welcoming way by Lisette, who was the most gracious and helpful host I've met. Our accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and airy. The common areas, both inside and out, were welcoming and cosy and the view is just perfection. There are only four rooms but each night we were...

This was our second night on the island and it is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The views were fantastic, the beds comfortable and the staff so helpful and friendly. We could have stayed a few more nights here. The owner was great when asked what to do on the island.
