I love this place. I like watching the big ships climb the Niagara Escarpment. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. The beds are comfortable and the TV service includes a guide channel.

My husband and I stayed at The Inn at Lock Seven this weekend and were quite pleased at the great value. We were heading down for one of our grandchildren's birthday parties and we had looked at rooms in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Thorold (that is where the party was. Couldn't believe the prices for one night in Niagara...

We had no idea what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The owner was behind the desk and was very nice. The rooms all face the canal. They all have balconies with a small table and 2 chairs. Inside the room was clean there is a large window with table and chairs which makes watching the...

The Inn at Lock 7 set in leafy residential neighbourhood. Car park is uncovered, in front of hotel, off street. Reception area smelled strongly of cooking, very unpleasant, and we had to wait for staff to appear. Reception and dining room in one part, and separate access, across car park, to rooms, via enclosed outdoor staircase. No lift but stairs not...

Stayed at the beginning of October 2015. Found the Inn very clean, quiet and comfortable. No complaints here. If your looking for a botique hotel, this is not it. However the area is very nice and if you like locks or ships, this is a birds eye view to the passing ships. Would diff entry recommend to friend, and go...

This is the second year of new ownership. There have been several improvements under the new owner. The wi-fi has been upgraded and is fast enough to do Netflix streaming. Some new furnishings have been added and the owner said that he will continue to update the facility. Yes, it is still a bit tired looking in places, but progress...

Very clean rooms and extremely friendly owners. We've stayed here a lot over the years and have enjoyed our stay every time. There is a small breakfast available in the morning but there is also a Tim Hortons nearby. **Warning** light sleepers beware! There are ships transiting the canal right in front of your room. They can be noisy and...

We just returned from our fourth annual stay at the inn. After our first brief, one-night stay in 2012 we were hooked! Not a lot of luxury amenities or anything, but the inn just makes for a nice, quiet place to stay with the focal point being, of course, the ships raising and lowering in lock number 7 of the...

It is a very nice quite, clean motel. We have been staying at this motel for 15 years, anywhere from once to three times a year. If you are looking for a nice place for an R&R vacation this is a good place. It is close to wine country, and Niagara on the Lake, which is an interesting, beautiful town...
