Ok, this place is not a luxury place but does have a very nice breakfast area. The view is fantastic! Yes, even romantic. We enjoyed seeing the ships travel by. The floors are cement. There does seems to be some smells from the cleaning but opening the door to the balcony solved that problem. We would stay again just to...

This small ":inn" is actually more along the line of a 1980's era motel. The rooms are spotless clean but dated with hard beds and air conditioning that struggles to keep up with late summer temperatures. BUT THEN....there is the view of lock 7...and it couldn't be better. The balconies facing the lock allow you to watch the entire lowering/raising...

We stayed here 3 nights and found the service great and attentive. The view great for ship watchers. It is very reasonably priced All the basics are there. We had everything we needed. The location was great for visiting the locks of the Welland Canal and for visiting Niagara Falls.

We have been here before but not for several years. We knew it was not a Hilton but we were disappointed that no updates seemed to have taken place. Someone called it "no luxury" and that is an understatement. The rooms are small and that is okay but the beds and pillows are old, old, old. There is still the...

Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. The beds are mediocre. The breakfast area is nothing exciting; neither is breakfast. The a/c units keep the doorway areas cold while ignoring the rest of the room. The towels are like something from a dollar store. The cleaning service is, at best, uninspired. Still reading? Okay, if you've gotten...

Unfortunately stayed here for two nights. Read reviews which grossly overstated this establishment. More like a shipping container with cement floors. Room smelt damp. We had to sleeping with door open to balcony to get fresh air. Security lacking as doors to the bottom floor to access rooms were not shut properly. Noisy air ventilator in bathroom. Only one small...

My husband and I stayed here March 14 and 15th 2015. It was our first visit. We were greeted by the owner who was friendly and helpful. We were the only guests staying at the Inn for the new 2015 season. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We had a nice view of the Welland canal lock 7. Unfortunately it...

Very polite and courteous owner who supplied very well laid out rooms which were spotlessly clean and tidy. All rooms are em suite and have a TV and fridge, however there are no tea/coffee making facilities. Our room overlooked the canal locks and it was most interesting to watch the big cargo boats transiting the lock which only took about...

The Inn is under new ownership since the beginning of the shipping season. The new owners have not changed much from how the previous owners had run the operation. It is still keep very clean and everyone is very friendly. We saw more ships this year than any year in the last 5. Great place to just kick back for...

This motel is in a great location to view the ships going thru the locks and that is the only reason for the "pricey" rates. The rooms are your basic motel rooms without some of the standard amenities you normally find. Be sure to bring your shampoo, conditioner, etc because it is not provided. Neither is a hair dryer or...
