I really enjoyed and appreciate my time spent at Tribu. The place is absolutely beautiful and so colorful. I really loved all the colorful murals and artwork throughout the facilities and the colorful hammocks are such a treat. I found all the staff to be really sweet and helpful. They also offer workshops every night and I had the chance...

This hostel has everything you could want and is very well organised. The only thing I would say is that, considering this is not glitzy Cancun/Riviera Maya, it's a little expensive. 10 pounds for a dorm seems a lot to me in that town....

I've stayed at dozens of hostels around the world and this one really takes them all for a spin!! It has daily activities I had never experienced before like drumming and "staglining" lessons. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean (no bedbugs). The common areas are African themed and picturesque and the guests are friendly and interesting...

The place is amazing, very good location. In the hostel the vibe is great and it has all amenities for having a great experience. Common Kitchen, an inside-room bathroom and lockers available even in the cheapest accommodation. If you're staying on the shared room, try to get the bed of the top, they're bunk beds and when the room is...

The hostel has a unique environment. I've been in many hostels and this is one of the best. The hostel looks beautiful with a unique artistic touch, is has many free events such as; live music, yoga, neon parties, etc. The rooms are clean and fresh, the bathrooms are clean as well. But what makes tribu the best hostel is...

All my friends recommended this hostel so I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed - nice helpful staff, lots of free daily activities, good kitchen and nice rooms. The location is really great - 3 blocks from town, half a block from the sea. I was in an air con room which was good and comfortable. There...

Was told it's the best hostel in Central America, It was great for its location and staff are nice. We stayed in a dorm room on the second floor, pretty good with its own toilet and basin. Shower was right outside our door. Own balcony which was handy! Not the most comfortable beds but oh well. We had two ceiling...

Hello Natasha! Thanks for staying in Tribu and thanks for your review! :) This year it’s been a really difficult year, not only for our hostel but for the entire island in terms of water, electricity supply and internet. The internet connections was not bad, it was awful the entire summer. Holbox is a tiny island that just started to...

We were really excited to come and stay here as the previous reviews were great. However upon arrival it was not what we expected. The staff were lovely and do not blame them for any of our bad experiences. Travelling as a couple and sleeping in the private room next to the common area, the night we arrive there was...

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago, our room was nice with good AC and a little balcony, staff were really helpful and friendly and the facilities were great such as the bar, the rooftop and the numerous places to chill out. The kitchen was fully equipped and had lots of hobs to cook on but maybe a little...

One of the best desighned hostels I stayed in. An amazing roof with a beautiful ocean view, great for yoga and stargazing. The bar is lively and has regular and changing events and parties. Well equiped kitchen. Dorms with good air-con, in-door toilet, shower is outside. A perfect place to base yourself and enjoy the magical Holbox beaches.
