The guy I booked the room through months in advance over the phone was a lovely and accommodating bloke (Lawrence). However when we arrived for the weekend a couple who were the owners the motel were there and they were anything but accommodating. I found them somewhat inhospitable and awkward to talk to, as if they were bothered and put... More

Stayed 2 nights for NZ$258 via booking.com. Expensive compared to other similar motels in NZ in winter. Something around or below NZ$200 would be more reasonable, but no other choices of motel in the centre of Otorohanga. About 5 mins walk from the centre of Otorohanga. Almost directly opposite supermarket. Free temporary membership to Otorohanga Club, about 200 metres away... More

Stayed overnight at this handy motel to the Glowworm Caves . The lovely Lucy was a happy face to greet us at the end of a long day . This is an ideal motel with a comfy bed and all facilities. Would recommend to anyone .

We were very tired when we arrived. The managers greeted us warmly, and made us feel very welcome. They were able to suggest restaurants to have dinner, and arranged for a local restaurant to deliver a take away to our motel. We had two bedrooms which were very clean, with a lounge and kitchenette. The bathroom was roomy and clean.... More

My husband and I needed a place to stay one night that was near Waitomo Caves, on our way to Taupo. The Palm Court served our needs well. Staff was very friendly and helpful, starting with giving us final directions by telephone and signaling to find the place. It turned out we were within eyesight, so he waved us over.... More

The manager was lovely!! I don't know what the last review was about! We had a great chat and he gave us recommendations to best places to eat in town. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was good pressure. Wifi was excellent. There was also a location film scout there who also said he prefers... More

We were booked into the Otorohanga & Waitomo Motels, I had the emails and confirmation papers in hand, signed and dated by their now ex- manager. The motel showed no booking for me and my travelling partners and no available rooms. After consulting with the present owners of O & W Motels, the temporary receptionist phoned the Palm Court Motel... More

This was a one night stop over after the Waitomo caves. We were booked in up stairs and as they were not booked out they offered to move us from near the road to a room at the back. The owners themselves said that the road noise was a night a bit troublesome as it is right near the truck... More

We stayed one night for work as a stopover, clean & tidy room, and a little bigger than usual, The motel is well situated on the main road, only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The bathroom was also a lot bigger than usual, with very good water pressure (Great Shower).
