What a lovely hidden gem. Dan was amazing with the booking, answering lots of questions and giving recommendations. Upon arrival he greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Parking just outside. We stayed in the Oak room which was beautiful, warm and cosy. The room, kitchenette and bathroom were well laid out, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We stayed two nights and had a good night's sleep on both occasions owing to the comfortable superking bed and quiet location. Breakfast was really generous with crumpets, bagels, granola, fresh fruit, jams.... All home made and yummy! Dan was a super host and stuck the balance between being really helpful and allowing for our privacy. He even lent us a map for a local walk! Would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful host - nothing too much trouble. We couldn’t get a taxi so the host Dan drove us to our dinner venue! And phenomenal boutique b&b. Luxurious, inviting, well equipped and exceptionally clean. This was my 2nd visit and is definitely not my last

Beautiful room, we stayed in Oak but I’m sure they are all lovely! A comfy super king bed and quality bedding. The decor is quirky and stylish, and having the kitchenette was very useful. The bathroom was spacious and the underfloor heating made it very cosy. We enjoyed tasty homemade treats for breakfast including crumpets, jam and granola. Highly recommend, hope to stay again.

We booked to stay at Hayeswood Lodge as we were attending a wedding at a nearby hotel. How wonderful to see an old agricultural building beautifully repurposed and restored enabling us and other guests to enjoy the characterful setting and environment with all its stylish and modern additions. We were extremely impressed with our room when we arrived (Willow.) It was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, a kitchenette stocked with homemade produce and a ‘proper’ coffee machine. When we met Dan, we loved chatting to him about the rich history of the property and it was an added bonus when we met Woody, one of the family dogs, who happily soaked up all our fuss and tried to help us pack the car! We highly recommend staying at Hayeswood Lodge and we will definitely stay again when we return to the area.
