The reserve is breathtaking and the staff is so lovely. We stayed in the Gondwana Lodge and the room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Our back patio looked out onto the reserve. Our guide was patient and wonderful, taking his time to ensure that we had the best experiences and saw some amazing animal interactions. In the evening,...

This place was amazing. Accommodation was brilliant. Everything you could possibly want. Nothing was ever to much trouble for the staff. Food excellent. Great buffet style breakfast. Staff amazing. The safari's were great. Saw lots of the animals. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed one night in January in the tented lodge, Dwyka, and experienced one highlight after another during a simply unforgettable 2 days. From Toya's welcome, to Adrian and the team's hospitality in the restaurant, Jannie's exhilarating walkabouts and expertly mixed sundowners...everyone seemed to go out of their way to make this a very special time for our family. Blown...

We actually stayed at both locations. First night at the dwyka lodges and then and the gonswana lodges. While the dwyka lodges are more modern you do feel less of the local experience which is very important in a safari. Dwyka feels like a five star modern tented lodge. While the gondwana lodges gives you the feeling of the farm...

We stayed her for two nights in January and were impressed at every turn. We were in the tented lodge, Dwyka, and what a beautiful place. You come upon it (eventually) rising up out of the scrub, but the modernistic style looks wonderful set within the embrace of an enormous surrounding rock cliff. The exquisite meals were served in a...

I have visited Sanbona 4 times now, each time is different but it is always spectacular. The views, food and staff are flawless. The reserve and wildlife are breath taking! They have your hippos, lions, cheetahs, elephants, all kinds of antelopes as well as the zebras, giraffes and bird life to satisfy everyone! My sister has a love for the...

We have just visited South Africa for my 60th birthday. Part of the trip was a stay at Dwyka, we went with no expectations of what the reserve would be like or whether we would see any animals. The experience exceeded our wildest dreams - just an amazing and emotional time. Excellent accommodation, wonderful food & hospitality and our ranger...

We spent an amazing Christmas at Dwyka. The lodge is incredible and unique. The food is wonderful. The staff could not be any more welcoming and nice. Our safari guide Pascale is unbelievably knowledgeable about practically everything that has to do with the reserve. We could not recommend this place more. This was definitely one of the most special trips...

Before I start, to provide some context, we are very experienced bush bunnies who have spent at least 3 weeks every year, for the last 17 years, in Southern Africa and have stayed at several of the best luxury lodges around. We stayed over Christmas, for 5 nights, i.e. we had 10 game drives and we were not disappointed with...
