I recommend to avoid this hotel unless you have no problem with absence of functioning air conditioned, poor service, old dirty carpets... I would especially recommend foreigner to avoid this hotel for a business trip.

The top floors are reserved for business travelers. Internal furnishings are pretty dated. Free wifi but is slow. The breakfast spread is not too bad and the hotel is at a good location, near to the kite square. There are also many eateries around. Pricing is reasonable for the good location.

I have stayed for 2 days with my wife,I general hotel services are good, despite staffs are lacking in English but they are pleasant and the room is need for a renovation a bit old but those rooms in Another building were nice but price bit different , the hotel just located on the corner of Kite Square and so closed with Weifang Kite Museum and another minute to Kuiwen Market Square , Sinolook Mall and just opposite of Weifang International Finance Tower , really convenience for walk around

Stayed there for 1 night. The rooms and bathrooms were clean but in need of a renovation. There was a computer in the room and the internet is free. I was staying in a no smoking floor but the mini bar had cigarettes. Stayed in building A which cost less than in Building B. Breakfast is served in Building A and was the best breakfast that I had in China better than the Holiday Inn in Beijing.

The room is much better than the price that you pay. We were in building number 2. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a shower in the bath, not a separate shower but very good toiletries and thick towels. They also have a number of snack and drinks for an ok price. Wifi did not really work for us so we used the wired one. The closet had nice bathrobes, extra blanket, extra towel, umbrella and shoe shine kit. One interesting feature was the complimentary ear-plugs with a note apologizing for the noise due to some construction outside. We did not hear any noise, possibly because we were there on a weekend. I would have given this place 5 dots if it wasn't for the breakfast. Lots of choice but no western food. I am used to Chinese food and can eat anything but for breakfast I like some western familiar food. No orange juice and the coffee was barely drinkable. Nearly no English spoken there.…

I stayed in a room in Building #1 and I was disappointed. Both the room and the bathroom are very old and smelly. I guess Building #2 is more modern but I have not been there. On the other hand the location is very central and the breakfast buffet is fantastic!

We found this the ideal hotel to stay in during our short visit to Weifang. It is ideally situated near the town centre, close to business and shopping areas. It is also close to the river, which has scenic walks along the banks. We only used the restaurant for breakfasts, which offered a buffet style with plenty of Western and local dishes. We recommend choosing rooms in Building #2, which is the newer wing of the hotel.

YuanFei Hotel has a perfect location and good rooms and staff. Most importantly it has the best buffet in Weifang. Even if you are staying at another hotel you should come here for a meal. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and costs about 100yuan. I like to stay there for a long time eating Japanese food, western food and cie cream!
