The staff at Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica are great! The food is delicious, the cleanliness of the resort is perfect and the entertainment staff are awesome and talented! I especially love Fabiana and Luis from the entertainment staff and the rest of the crew that are very talented. Every night was a different show but my favorite was the "Fire Show". I highly recommend visiting this wonderful country and staying at Secrets Papagayo!

Louis (performer) was the best part of our visit. He did the fire show, Latin show, Costa Rica show and was really friendly towards us. We will definitely be back thanks to him. The other staff such as Ari and Fatima were also excellent and extremely multitalented. We loved their company so much.

Spent the most magical honeymoon at Secrets. If you want the royal treatment and ultimate vacation whether you’re interested in activities or relaxing this is your place. I have never been met with better hospitality. We had a great time with multiple staff members which truly made our trip memorable. Also take advantage of the included room service we had a blast ordering drinks while getting ready or a midnight snack. We stayed at the panoramic view level and it was truly breathtaking. They have a variety of dining options all included, the hibachi is a MUST. We had read reviews that the food isn’t the best at all inclusive resorts but we had some great meals, no complaints. And they have nightly shows after dinner at the pool deck including an unbelievable fire show with a dancer breathing fire and all…

This Secrets and all the people who work there are wonderful! First the Entertainment staff: Merari, Yasniri, Fatima, Aleska - so friendly, fun, excellent dancers, the evening performances were so enjoyable, the daily activities fun & interesting. UVC Mariam has a magic wand! No matter what our issue was (missing luggage, room) , she solved it! Chef Michelle has magic hands! The meals were all so delicious. It was a pleasure to watch her in action. Bartenders & servers & transport drivers were always polite, happy to assist. Our favourite server was Maria. One transport driver always remembered our room number (sorry I forget your name). The property is very well maintained, easy distance to excursions, shopping, other beaches, and attractions. Great experience! This is more of a couples resort though there is enough fun for everyone there. Hence, not much night life after 9:30 PM. Great food and excellent service. I would go back. Suggestion: If you want to experience some of the culture, do a day/night trip to Tamarindo (~1.5 drive each way). Make sure you negotiate the exact time of return with the guide as to not get surprised with extra costs. Also, boat trip on the catamaran was a blast!
