When there quite a while ago but forgot to review then, now checking to go back so it came back to my head :) Friendly staff, great peaceful place to relax but near enough to the beach and all the fun stuff. Nice, private, clean rooms with kitchen, mosquito net for the bed and good A/C. Best the swing each...

This hotel is perfect for a beach/surf town vacation. The common area is amazing it includes a pool, hot tub, dry tub, lounge chairs, a bungalow with a swinging bed and a comfy chair. The rooms are amazing, each bed with it's own mosquito net which is necessary (we were traveling while Zika was a major concern). We reserved the...

Canaima is an excellent choice for those travelers who look for a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Amazing common areas where to chill: deck, hot tub, swimming pool. Up above the hill, it´s location provides safe distance to noise and dust from the main busy road, no further than 5 minutes away from beach access. Recommend ATV rental to make the...

My boyfriend and I spent the coldest week in Canada away in beautiful Santa Teresa at the Chill House. We had a lovely experience - Juan and Pablo were incredibly helpful as they assisted in booking several off-site excursions and ensuring we had a comfortable stay. The Chill house was a beautiful & clean spot. We used the kitchen often...

Canaima Chill House is one of the best places I have ever stayed! It is designed to perfection and definitely a place to chill. Juan and his team are super friendly and willing to help you with any of your questions. Yes there is small hill to reach Canaima Chill House, however we were more than happy to walk it...

Even if all of Santa Teresa is a real paradise, this hotel is one special place! Don't be fooled by the access to this hotel, as the owner told us it can be reached only with a 4WD. You might no be just in front of the the beach but this beautiful place encrusted in the forest is just magical!...

My wife and I stayed in 6 hotels while we were in Costa Rica, and as far as rooms go, this hotel wins hands down. Each room had a private patio/balcony area with a swinging daybed and patio table. The inside of the room was equally awesome, a loft area with two twin beds, an extremely comfortable queen mattress equipped...

My husband and I absolutely loved everything about our stay Canaima Chill House. Not only was the location perfect (it sits up on the hill above the hustle and bustle of the main town, but close enough to get to the action in 5 minutes, or less if you have an ATV), but the staff was even better. Pablo, Juan,...

We stayed two days in Santa Teresa. Canaima is located 400 m up the hill, but that is fine if you have a car. As it is a bit separated from the crowded, loud and dirty street it is the best place you can stay in Santa Teresa. Receptionist are very friendly and can give you excellent recommendations about the...
