Great service and beautiful accommodations right on the beach. The food is delicious. I took two surf lessons which were great. I felt like a pro beginner and felt confident to go out on my own. The sunsets are amazing. I highly recommend the mojito and tuna tataki. My only area of improvement would be the beds a little firm....

The staff are very kind and helpful and the location is fantastic - both a short walk to the surf and to nearby restaurants, surf shops, and grocery stores. Our room was comfortable with AC and a ceiling fan, and there is a large private porch with chairs and a hammock. There are also hammocks on the hotel property at...

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Tropico Latina. Our room faced the beach; it was very clean. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent; I especially loved the fruit and yogurt disk fro breakfast. As to location, the hotel is just a short walk from the town center and there...

I love Hotel Tropico! The food is amazing, the fruit waters delicious and it has the best sunsets and surfing anywhere in the world! Great spa services as well. Paradise. Many thanks to Roberto, Marco and Maria! Howler monkeys swing over head and iguanas wonder around on the ground!

Santa Teresa is our favorite place in fabulous Costa Rica and this is our favorite hotel there. It is located right on the beach in the best part of Santa Teresa and Puntarenas. You do not need a car since many restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The sunsets from the beach are breathtaking. Most rooms are in a separate bungalow...

Unbelivable food created by Chef Randy Siles and his team at Hotel Tropico Latino. Very nice hotel by the Beautiful Santa Teresa beach. Service provided by Esteban and his team-mates was one of the highlights of our weekend getaway. The 6 hrs journey from San Jose were totally worthed.

I visited Tropico Latino during Christmas with my husband for our honeymoon. It was so romantic and relaxing. The staff at the hotel are so accommodating and sweet - they organized a private 10 course farm to table dinner for us on the beach, where chef Randy came out and explained each dish, ingredient and inspiration to us. So special....
