My wife and I stayed here for 8 days (9/17-9/25). We stayed in the beach view room upstairs, and we absolutely loved it. Hotel is perfect. Bed was comfortable, room was comfy, Don cooks an amazing breakfast, great beach, awesome surf, shaded hammocks, and more! We really have nothing bad to say about Casa Cecilia. If you want a chill...

My surfing buddies were two days ahead of me, and by the time I arrived in-country, they told me they found a place in Santa Teresa and to head down from Liberia. I was somewhat reluctant to return to Santa Teresa/Mal Pais, as the build-up in the area over the last 15 years is well known. Well, a chance turn...

This was our fifth time staying at Casa Cecilia and we already booked our trip for next year. There is no better place to stay in Santa Teresa. This is the only hotel right on the beach with an unobstructed view of the beautiful ocean. I have checked them all. Coffee is ready for you when you get up followed...

We stayed for 5 nights with our family of 4. Lovely rooms, wonderful staff. Quiet locale yet close to places to eat in town. Right on the beach. Beds were comfortable, place was very clean, wonderful full breakfast served daily! prepared by Don - who was friendly and accommodating without being too much so! While there Lucia set up our...

We stayed at Casa Cecilia for two nights. Lucia greeted us and showed us around. The room was a good size and included a small refrigerator which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was made to order. Enjoyed two eggs and whole grain toast one day and the breakfast burrito the second day. Don was on duty the second day and...

We travelled from Australia with our 3 children (7, 8 and 10) to spend 5 weeks in Costa Rica. Our hope was that CR would offer beautiful, uncrowded beaches with great surf, food and an "off the beaten track" experience. We were not disappointed. Our first destination was Casa Cecilia for 6 nights & we knew we'd found the perfect...

If you would like to get up close and personal with the ocean stay here! This house has the best spot on the beach, you walk right out your door to the white sand and amazing surf of Santa Teresa. The staff is personable, they make a great breakfast, and help with any arrangements you may need. I frequent the...

I have stayed in Santa Theresa many times and this is by far the best all around hotel. Great spot on the beach, affordable, comfortable, far enough from the hustle and bustle, monkeys in the trees, hammocks on the beach, great restaurants near by. What more could you want?
