Located just north of the main town so away from the noise and dust, but close enough to enjoy when wanted. The hotel is small meaning you share the beach with very few other people if any while you soak up the sun or lounge in the shaded areas with chairs and hammocks. It is one of the only truly...

I chose Casa Cecilia because of good reviews on Tripadvisor and it exceeded my expectations and blew me away. Don, the manager, helped my boyfriend and I settle into our vacation the moment we stepped off the plane in Tambor. Don knows all the local activities offered and can help you book if you want to do something in addition...

We looked for a nice place on the beach and came across this place by chance. Boy, how luck we were! this place is beautiful, right on the beach, amazing view, clean and well managed. They make great breakfast! Don, the owner is extremely nice and friendly, he will assist you in any way he can, just to make your...

Just got back from a week at Casa Cecilia and it was unbelievable! The rooms were great and the location was absolute perfection. It is right on the beach with hammocks in the palms right above the high tide line, and fantastic waves all over out front. Plus Don is the man to go to there, and he brings it...

First of all, my thanks to the community of Trip Advisor reviewers that wrote about Casa Cecilia. The accumulation of excellent reviews was very helpful when I was researching options for a special trip to celebrate a friends' 50th birthday. The choice became clear after reading all the wonderful things everyone had to say, hearing various local merchants recommend Casa...

Casa Cecilia has a beautiful open air design with marble floors, wood ceiling and matching wood cabinets and accents. Local surf art and photography adorns the walls and solid wood tables and chairs provide the perfect setting for Don's delicious and healthy breakfast. A fully stocked kitchen is available to fix a meal as long as you clean up after...

This place is much better than shown on the pictures! The house has just been fully renovated and is right on the beach. It is such a relaxing place... you won't want to leave! The manager is wonderful, the place is run like a B&B and all guests were very friendly. They have boards you can borrow, hammacks for a...

We loved Casa Cecilia! A beautiful beach, wonderful hammocks among the palm trees right next to the beach. Nice and tidy area in front of the hotel down to the beach. We had the only "second floor" room and it was perfect. The hotel is in a bit of a remote area (at the north end of Santa Teresa beach),...

I came with a group and we stayed a week at the beautiful Casa Cecilia. The home was beautiful and the beach in the back yard was breath taking. There was ample seating outside to enjoy the view and the common areas were clean and comfortable at all times. My room had everything we needed. Don and his staff took...

We traveled with a group of 11 people to Stand Up Paddleboard and experience the other activities in Santa Teresa-Mal Pais. Don is an amazing host and made sure our every need was met. He and Pia both went out of their way to make sure we were fed an amazing fresh breakfast every day before we left for our...
