I spent two delightful weeks at Blue Surf Sanctuary in November surfing with Toro. What a fantastic trip! The accommodation is exactly as pictured- clean, simple and comfortable. The beach is stunning, and the waves are dependable and challenging. Yoga at Florblanca was also a highlight. I am already planning my return trip!

Kelly, owner of Blue Surf Sanctuary, has hired a top notch group of people to run Blue Surf. They are a fabulous group of people, and they take great care of the place! Blue Surf itself is precious! The cabins are built with the highest quality, and each cabana is very private, very large, and very very comfortable. Everything is...

My husband and I spent our entire honeymoon here instead of traveling around the country. We LOVED everything about Blue Surf Sanctuary and the Nicoya Peninsula! We actually traveled in January of 2015 for our honeymoon! Transportation: We hopped on a Sansa flight from San Jose and had pre-arranged a taxi with BlueSurf. The taxi drove us straight to our...

The grounds are beautiful, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the work staff is very friendly. This should be a a 5 star review. However there were a few points worth noting. First the bungalows backed up right up to the road and noise from traffic was at times hard to deal with late into the night (mind you we...

From check in to check out our experience at Blue Sanctuary was above and beyond what we had anticipated. We woke up to freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee in the open air common kitchen, and our daily go to gals, Sara and Bianca, who attended to our every need whether it be a recommendation for meals, or where to find...

An awesome location only a few steps from the beach. There are four individual bungalows which are amazing. I'll post pictures rather than trying to describe them. We stayed in the "Armonia" room which is located furthest from the entrance. The way that its set up, it would be hard not to meet and get to know the other guests....

The Blue Surf Sanctuary is a great place for enjoying the Surf and Sun. Laura has a five star attitude and provided great service with the transportation needs, restaurants, laundry and spa services (Daniela is the best!). The accommodations are very nice with great AC, daily housekeeping services and a friendly and engaging staff. The tree frogs, monkeys and birds...

This place is amazing... Be aware you will fall in love with this place as soon as you step inside the gate. The grounds are immaculate, the staff friendly, helpful and awesome, and the rooms are spotless and have such a beach house feel. I loved every bit of my stay from the comped morning coffee, to the homey common...

We had a great time relaxing on the beach and wandering around the peninsula on the ATV. During low tide we would wander around the tide pools looking for shells and fish. We did the zipline at Montezuma Falls, which was very nice. It had rained very hard the night before, so the water was muddy while we were there,...
