A beautiful domaine overlooking the river Seine where we spent our time alternating between the spa, wine tasting and eating a gastronomic dinner in the 1 star Michelin restaurant. It was great way to get a recharge of ones batteries when you have no time...More

I visited at the end of November.
I visited directly from the CDG with a rental car and arrived at 19:00. Therefore, I did not notice it because it was pitch dark, but I can not forget the impression when I woke up the next...More
We arrived and the initial impression of old building refurbished on a bluff, picturesque outdoor courtyard was pleasant. The “spa” boasted about and ‘offered’ to us free isn’t in the building but across a gravely parking lot that would require full dress to reach and...More

It's a reasonable drive, one hour and a half or so, depending upon rush hour traffic, protest marches, and how many times you stop for snacks and bathroom breaks. We had a comfortable drive and also drove from the hotel to Honfleur and back in one day. Find a good car park in Paris and then use the Metro in the city. It's easy and will save your feet some blisters (keep in mind from Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower is a good two to three mile walk- 5K is what they say but you'll wander when you see some of the city's other great tourist sites you want to visit). The Metro is easy to use and the people we ran into were very helpful with directions. Have a great trip!
