My wife and I have just enjoyed a wonderful stay here. One night only, but we'd return for a longer stay in warmer weather. We walked into Montreuil in the evening (half an hour) on the footpath from Madeleine to the Citadelle and back during a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Auberge du Vieux Logis, three minutes...

The secret garden. You can just stay there! A wonderful room with gardenview, a simple pure breakfast served by the genuine owner, and close to la grenouillere for a perfect dinner. We felt as if we were living in a very peaceful fairytale for one day!

A very warm welcome by a charming couple in a quirky, gorgeous little B&B. We had a very comfortable, totally independent room, overlooking the garden. Martine served breakfast in our room, with fruit juice, good, fresh coffee, gorgeous pastries and beautiful granary bread, homemade jams and delicious slices of apples cooked with cinnamon and accompanied with a scrumptious brioche. Get a taxi and enjoy the wine!, When I say fabulous breakfast I mean it. Roasted apple slices in sugar, still warm, yoghurt and honey, all the bread, jams and croissants you...

All the reviews we read were impressive so that's why we picked it but for 70 euros thought a bit expensive for what it was...

This was a lovely stopover . A twenty minute walk into the town where there are lots of good places to eat. Very helpful owner persuaded us to take her torch for the walk back. Still managed to get lost but that may have been the wine. A lovely wee quirky place to stay with a great breakfast.
