We stayed at the Villa Ilias for a week at the end of September/early October. It helped greatly that the weather was glorious and that Santorini is a scenically stunning island with a rich historical heritage, a fascinating geology and white villages strewn like guano along the caldera ridge. We arrived at the hotel about 9.20pm, as expected, but as...

General comments about Santorini & Villa Illias - First Off Santorini is Sensational. So where ever you stay it's still a dream. Santorini is not a large island so it would be easy to explore all points of the Island. - Fira & Oia are the most popular towns and are full of tourist (mainly during the day from the...

Our trip to Santorini took place between Sept 30 and October 6. Six wonderful days with great weather, excellent views and service. George, Mary and Nicolette were very hospitable, they took very good care of us with good suggestions on what to do and where to go. We wanted a trip to be more traditional island visit, not the typical...

Hotel is in a great location within walking distance to downtown Fira. Excellent views of the caldera. Staff went above and beyond to make stay hospitable, including staying late one day to help me recover a cell phone that I lost in a taxi. You will love staying here!

One of the nicest hotels that already went, Great view of the Caldera, Very good service and it is one of the best places in Santorini, Fira. It has great restaurants nearby, market, and is only 20 minutes from the center of Fira.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the sunset view room with a nice balcony, and the view was better than it is in Oia, where rooms either have a caldera view or a sunset view but not both. The breakfast here was nice and the staff very helpful and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed in a pool view room for four nights and didn't want to leave! The customer service from the staff was amazing and we didn't experience such amazing service the rest of our Europe trip! We arranged airport transfers both two and from the hotel. Which was very convenient. You can arrange it online before you...

My wife and I stayed at Villa Ilias for 4 nights in September and thoroughly enjoyed out trip. The service and breakfast were great, and the staff was very helpful in setting up activities, restaurant reservations, and transportation. We has a private balcony with a caldera-facing view, which I recommend. The room itself was small, but sufficient, as we only...

The People can make or break your vacation - George and Mary made this a most enjoyable experience! The hotel is perfectly located - just outside of the city central but close enough to enjoy a casual walk along the rim into town. Great pool setting, wonderful breakfast and evening wine events. They arrange airport or ferry transfers, will arrange...
