Three of us spent four nights in this wonderful hotel in the first week of May. Duncan met us with smiles and good humour, and his trusty trolly, at midnight when we arrived. Our rooms were spacious and clean and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The breakfasts were great. Alex immediately tuned into our dining preferences...

Wonderful small family-run hotel in fascinating historic house with modern facilities. Perfect breakfasts - good choices including Full English, all cooked to order. Very friendly, helpful staff, mainly English but several other languages spoken. Bedrooms very comfortable and quiet as hotel in ancient alley near city walls, yet less than 3 minutes walk to restaurants, shopping and wide variety of...

Spirit of the Knights is a rather unusual place to stay. It is quiet - very quiet, everyone talks in a whisper - as one might do in a country restaurant in Kent - and it's hidden away - almost consciously - in one of the least accessible corners of Rhodes' Old Town. A lot of love and energy has...

Our four nights were perfect. Alex and Duncan were attentive and thoughtful without being obtrusive. Our suite was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was modern, the bedroom evocative. Breakfast was excellent, if too generous. Location was just a few minutes walk from the Grand Master's Palace. Superb restaurants were short walks away

This is so peaceful, beautifully renovated yet retaining the sense of the history of the place. Customer service is excellent. Alex and Duncan deal with the guests and as others have said, nothing was too much trouble. More than that, each of them makes you feel as if you are a valued friend. The breakfast choices were varied. The yoghurt...

Alex is the heart of Spirit of the Knights Hotel and he made our stay in Rhodes very special. He has an amazing way of connecting with all of his guests even when he is frantically busy. He gave us great advice on beaches, restaurants, and car rental, not to mention calling ahead for us and problem solving when necessary....

Very quiet small Boutique Hotel. Alex and Duncan are really very nice and try their best and more to make your stay in Rhodes great. Good advices and addresses. Possibility to have a very good and professional Swedish massage in the room. The decoration is lovely, possibility to have breakfast in the garden. Located in the old city but away...

Incredible historic hotel beautifully renovated. Location is nice down a quiet side street but very central in the old town. The hotel was a great place to relax and the breakfast was really good. The room I stayed in was really beautiful with a functioning old hammam. Staff were really kind and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

After a breathtaking walk into Rhodes (Alex met our taxi outside the walls of the city, and walked our luggage in), we found the hotel off a very quiet backstreet. It's honestly amazing - such an old building, great rooms - quiet, historic rooms (we had a room for 2 adults on the main floor, and 2 kids in the...

This hotel was so cool! We stayed in the Ottoman room and it really felt like we were taking a trip back in time, despite the modern amenities throughout. It was so fun to explore the old town with this hotel as a home base. Alex and Duncan were also so helpful, arranging a taxi to bring us from the...
