I recently stayed there with my wife, two kids and parents and would highly recommend it. John is a very generous and knowledgeable host. The location of the hotel is ideal and the rooms are well appointed and very cozy. As other reviewers have noted, the breakfasts are fantastic. A great, low-key yet extremely comfortable place to stay.

My partner and I stayed at the Zacosta Villa for a short break in September. The owner - John - really is the perfect host. The location is great. The rooms are lovely. The court yard is heaven - ideal to sit back and relax in if you want a break from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was superb... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Zacosta at the end of October. John is a fantastic host who made us very welcome in many ways during our stay, including meeting our taxi early in the morning of our arrival, giving us advice on things to do and see, in driving us to the docks for our trip on... Myself & my wife Dianne stayed here for 3 nights in September. What a delight this place is & I can’t recommend it enough ... John was a perfect host, collecting us & our luggage from a nearby church where our taxi had dropped us & escorting us the short distance to his small villa hotel. This is an ideal... More

Our 3 nights in Rhodes in October were magical. Rhodes was a big surprise, and staying at Zacosta was part of the magic. Owner John looked after us from our early morning arrival on Day 1, to taking us to the ferry to Turkey on Day 4. Breakfasts outside in the courtyard were fantastic – always too much to eat... More

Zacosta is a 3 room bed and breakfast walking distance to everything inside the walls of Rhodes, Greece. Usually staying at hotels we were excited about this B&B because all of our e-mail correspondence was prompt, informative and made us feel like were important visitors. The rooms are cozy and small, but you'll spend little time in them ... all... More

Kevin and I (Diane) stayed at Zacosta for 7 nights at the beginning of October and what a delight it was to stay here. Having stayed in a 5-star all inclusive last year we wanted somewhere ,which was away from the maddening crowds-Zacosta provided that. The sun was shining and from the start to the end of our holiday we were... The location is perfection. And unique. On a quiet lane near the central part of old town. The rooms are clean and the courtyard and breakfast exqusite. Close quarters with the other guests, but they were quite pleasant so it was not a problem. The owner went to college in the US and is a native English speaker who is... More

I agree with other recent comments that this is a B&B rather than a hotel. That was part of the reason we enjoyed our stay so much, after two weeks of staying in nice but standard hotels. From the moment that John picked us up at the Port (we had come by ferry from Marmaris, Turkey) to the time he... More
