Hotel Andreas is a charmingly intimate refuge close to the heart of Old Rhodos. The staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable, especially Patrick who could charm the paint off the walls, good restaurants, shopping and important historical sites are all within walking distance. And the view from the terrace is magnificant! Would I were there now.

Last April I had the pleasure of finding a hidden treasure in the walled Medieval City on the Isalnad of Rhodes--The Hotel Andreas. Rumors claim it was the harem for a fifth century Arab nobleman. I found it to be a delightful headquarters for roaming and researching the entire island. The prices were good, the charm and hospitality of the...

On paper (or the internet), the Hotel Andreas looks like a great romantic option, but this is largely dependant on the room. We were a bit unlucky in that we had a room (number 22, Clea) that had an outside bathroom and very little storage space. The advertised private terrace actually requires a lambada with a tree and a walk...

Hotel Andreas is a characterful place to stay in Rhodes Old Town. Each room is very different. We stayed in two of those, #18 and #17. #18 had a cute terrace with a great view and #17 had enough room for 4 and a loft. A mistake was made with our reservation (we were supposed to be in the honeymoon...

Three of us traveling together had 2 rooms. We had the most expensive room which did have a great view. The bathroom had been updated and was OK. The staff was friendly. That was the good. The bad: plumbing was terrible, the place did not seem clean, our room was small, our friend's room (with the exclusive use of the...

I stayed at the Hotel Andreas for one night in early March. The british woman Pauline who showed me my room and cooked breakfast was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is spacious with great views of the town (unfortunately I lost my photo of this room so it is not attached). Pauline cooks a good breakfast (my best...

The three of us stayed at Hotel Andreas in Sept this year (2006) and I must say it was great. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Probably because none of them are Greek. Patrick does the breakfast which is basic but enough. It consists of bottom less coffee served to your table and then you help...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Andreas on our honeymoon. The reception we received was like no other. The people were so nice and accomadating that it relieved a lot of stress. It was like being welcomed into their own little home. We stayed in room 17 which was a split level that had a double bed upstairs...

We stayed in Hotel Andreas for our honeymoon and it was really amazing. Room Justine is a beautiful room with a magnificent view on the town and the sea. We loved the decoration used in the hotel. The breakfast terrace is also nice with paintings of some local artists and they have an amazing library. They have books we have...
