After reading the reviews I was very excited about going to this hotel. Depending who you are travelling with and which country you are from will depend how you stay goes and who it will suit. I was a single parent with an 8 year old from England sold on the fact that it was close to the beach and had kids clubs and activities. On arrival we were give one of the rooms in the main hotel which was very dark and not very welcoming. Didn't have a holiday feel and wasn't what I had seen in the brochure. We were then given another room at the side of the hotel which was recently refurbished and was bright and spacious. After one night of no sleep because it was next to the road I was very disappointed. I did ask to be moved to be told they were all the same. The following night it was so windy the door kept banging and another night no sleep. On the kid front Kids club was closed which was the only reason I came to this hotel. This was due to Covid even though other hotels were still operating Kids Club. This was the biggest blow for me as my daughter is very active and wanted to meet friends and do activities. The daytime activities were more geared up for teenagers. The night time programme was geared up more for adults so if you're going as an adult with older children then great but not with young children. There was only one other English family so if you are coming from England not a great hotel to stay at. After one day we did make a request to transfer hotels to one that had kids club operating but we had to wait another night. At this point the hotel manager tried to get us to stay and I wish we had seen her before as she was going to move us to a quieter family room but that wouldn't have solved the other issues. I had complained to Reception several times about the noise from our room and nothing was done. I was sleep deprived for the first few days of that holiday. Even the beach was disappointing, stones that hurt your feet and high waves, great if you are doing windsurfing which is why a lot of people go to Ixia. The food wasn't very good either so on the 2nd night we went into Rhodes town which was very close by and had a lovely evening shopping, lots of restaurants and got that Greek feel. The next day we did move hotels to an amazing one that I had kids club, lots of activities and a great atmosphere which was lacking where we were. Again depending on what you want from a hotel and who you are travelling with will depend on your experience. Also depends what country you are travelling from, if from England don't go but there were plenty of Dutch and other European countries. Tui have failed to respond to any correspondence in getting a refund and I'm very disappointed with them. False advertising on their part.

Hotel's Favourite
I spent almost 2 weeks in Cosmopolitan together with my family. We really enjoyed this time! Not a lot of guests so we could feel like VIPs on pools and in bars. No queues, everything fresh and tasty. We were able to try local cusine every day. Rooms are clean and represent adequate standard. Looking newly renowated main bar is very spacious and cosy at the same time. All the staff very helpful and wanting to make your stay carefree and unforgetable. The hotel is very well located - only 3-4 km away from the Rhodes old town/the harbour. A few small supermarkets, souvenir stores and restaurants nearby. A Taxi rank and a bus stop just in front of the hotel. What is important the hotel is just next to the beach so fresh sea breeze helps to survive even in a very hot day. And of course amazing sunsets that you can oversee from your balcony! Tough times for Greek people due to pandemic when tourists are not coming to their country as usual. But they are fighting and trying to do everything to attract people to be back in their fantastic country. I will be there again for sure!

YAMMAS (cheers) indeed - what a fabulous experience we had … the warm welcome we all received made up for the short comings, of which there were few. Yes the drinks are a bit samey, yes the evening entertainment isn’t big budget but I have never felt so welcome and comfortable in a hotel. The receptionists were perfect couldn’t do enough - they moved our son with no trouble at all (he was in a single room) … they hunted down the iron for me and left it in our room - gorgeous people with welcome smiles ! The waiting staff were kind smiley and always on the go … I felt like their friend … the bar staff were great both pool and main bar , always rushing to assist even when they had a big queue. The food was delicious, great choice , well presented and tasty ! Yannis was a star - his manner delightful and his pizzas a crowd pleaser. I would visit again in a heartbeat… not one bug anywhere spotless and I hate cockroaches so spot them anywhere! Even the photo man was friendly and the spa was to die for … don’t miss it. I expect during busy times you may queue but knowing how the staff are proud of their hotel I am sure it would be dealt with. Loved it - well done and thank you x We stayed on floor 7 which was upgraded and worth it spectacular sea views - our son on 3rd floor had an older room but still spotless …. CAN’T WAIT TO RETURN 😁 (we even miss our 3 polish lads serenading into the night on the balcony below - they were hilarious)

One of the best trips abroad, all thanks to the friendly hotel staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and talkative - the reception staff, Chef Lefteris made delicious omelets, Bartender Mikes made great drinks and always had a nice chat with guests. Bogdan and William are really great entertainers - they were able to keep everyone entertained with interesting quizzes. The hotel is situated close to the sea and only 5 km from Rhodes Town. In the hotel there was no time for boredom - everyone was very committed to make sure that guests enjoy their stay. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. It is worth to pay more for the sea view. I trully recommend this hotel :)
