We are a well traveled family, we paid 5.5k for this graded 5* resort. Definitely not 5*, more 3.5*. We traveled during COVID. We booked a swim up room, to which we were told by management that it could only be used between 10-6, we informed the manager that there would be no use in us having booked that room. We told him we would be swimming in our pool outside of those hrs, to which we did! Other British holidaymakers followed suit. Food was good, a good variety. Pools were great but very limited time to swim 10-6, the lifeguard was a pain, any sign of guests enjoying themselves she was telling you off! There is not a single thing to do in walking distance, the beach was a total disappointment! Would we return again-probably not

Just have been 20 members of staff who remembered me was like going to see family they made me feel so welcome theres so much for the kids to do and my middle grandson said to me grandad this is the best holiday I have ever been on lots of kids clubs entertainment football water park high wires a tivities the list goes on (check out facilities/kids clubs) with multiple choice of pools restaurants and different accommodation this place really excels adults are entertained to and there was more adult activities this year (less covid restrictions) the food is superb and spoilt for choice even when the restaurants are shut there are plenty of poolside cafes where you can get a girl toastie chicken nuggets etc some rooms have multi jet shower hot tub play station whirlpool bath swim up room there truly is everything that you could want in a hotel my only criticism and it is a small niggle is there is not enough USB ports so please make sure you take your chargers and an adaptor or buy one there will be returning next year thank you everyone for a fantastic holiday

We just returned form a 10 day stay here we have only ever been on 1 other all inclusive so I can only compare it to that. The stand out thing about this hotel which many have mentioned are the staff the place runs like a well oiled machine from check in where you are given a glass of procecco on arrival and as we were dropped off at the wrong entrance (if your in the relaxed area then you need the delux entrance) to having a ride over to the other side ona. Golf cart a very fun way to arrive at a hotel. To check out where we paid for a late check out which was well worth the money because we didn't fly till 10pm and they let us have the room till 6pm which meant we could enjoy the day with out feeling like we were carting our bags around. The entertainment, academy and clubs staff were all outstanding and what they did and just really lovely people who geniunly seem to enjoyed there jobs a special thankyou to edu and soti who managed to get my son around the activity climb when he had a bit of a moment about half way round they were excellent with him the Halloween party was the abslout highlight of our trip I'm very pleased we got to see it. There are 2 sides to the hotel the activity where all the clubs and games are and the relaxed side although lots of people stay over at the relaxed side because the pools I think are bigger so it doesn't feel very relaxed at times we paid for a swim up room the pros to these rooms are you have a private terrace with sun loungers but our room was only private on one side the other was right next to a walk way so I'd say steer clear of 5807 also I know it's october but the pools are ablsoutly freezing so we didnt so as much swimming at the hotel because it just isn't fun to freeze to death in a pool there is a heated pool but it is very small and Constantly resevered with towels which people dump down before breakfast to secure your spot personally I find this behaviour selfish this is also done around the activity pool as well The other con I found was the clubs arnt clubs as such you don't drop your kid off for the day it's more activities that last about 2 hours so you have to pick them up and then take them to the next activity also you have to be lightning quick at 6pm on the ap to get a place for your child as the clubs book up very quickly espeiclay for the 3-8 year old places so much so that I had to set an alarm to do which felt to much like home and sorting all my sons after school activity it wasn't as restful as I'd wanted but he loved the clubs and the staff were so great with him especially lotty We didn't manage to get in to the Al a cart restaurants so we mainly ate in the buffet restaurant the food was fine it wasn't the best buffet I've ever been to but it did the job of what we needed All in all we really enjoyed our holiday here I don't think we'd come back because we really love the sea so a hotel with beach access is what we really want I'd recomend this hotel but I think the summer would be better when hopefully the pools are warmer.

First time ever leaving the UK and now I’m so glad I did!! The hotel is absolutely stunning, kind and caring staff who cater for any of your needs. Only a five minute walk to the beach. You can’t go wrong with choosing here as your Rhodes holiday destination! Would definitely recommend hiring a car as it is a bit of a walk to the town. Day two of being home and I’m already missing Debbie 😔, our daily conversations and she always left me with a smile on my face, wish I could of bought her home with me 😂. I truly wish ever hotel had a Marios, kind and caring and helped us with absolutely anything we needed, our room had a very small issue but Marios quickly sorted us a new room out and gave us a bottle of champagne with our dinner and a late checkout as our flight home was late. I genuinely can’t think of anything negative to say about the hotel, can’t wait to come back again, we made so many special memories here that we’ll truly keep for a lifetime. This place and every single staff member will always keep a special place in my heart 🤍xxx

This was our third visit to this hotel and I doubt it will be our last. We wanted somewhere we knew for our first post/mid-covid holiday and it didn’t disappoint. Food always very good. Not the best AI we have had but pretty well up there. I don’t think I had the same meal twice in the week we were there. They are constantly upgrading and improving the hotel and taking on board customer feedback which is brilliant to see. We love the set up here of activity versus relax. When our daughter was younger we were very much activity side with the odd visit to relax. Now she’s a teen our set up has flipped…. But whilst the hotel is geared towards younger kids she loves the relax vibe and we love the swim up room to bar set up! Felt very covid safe with large bottles of hand gel at every table and one-use gloves on entry to the restaurants. Some can’t fathom a one way system or the fact that you wear your mask over your mouth and nose (who knew?!🙄). But generally very safe. Only criticism would be the first choice reps. Which is possibly a bit harsh as we didn’t have that much to do with them, but when we did it wasn’t up to the standard of previous visits. We struggled to understand what they were saying and the info on the app and the boards was wrong on at least three of the seven days which was frustrating when we only partook in five activities anyway. Great to have a snack bar now on the relax side and really enjoyed the bbq and live music on relax also. The pools were chilly in October but not as bad as people make out … the only way to do it is just to run in! Enjoyed both the Italian and American a la cartes. Though no hand gel here other than entry and when we asked we were brought a finger bowl. But food was enjoyable and makes a nice change to buffet. We had one slight issue at 2 am where I was woken by shouting.. after waiting for a while to see if it subsided I eventually went out to ask them to keep the noise down. It turned out our neighbours had lost power to their room and staff were trying to sort it. They apologised profusely and within five minutes of turning up for breakfast the next morning both members of staff concerned had come up to apologise. I was pretty blown away. Nothing gets past this hotel. When we returned to our room after breakfast a fruit bowl and bottle of cava and note of apology had been left in the room. Honestly above and beyond. I do ponder when these staff actually sleep. If you take the time to wander around you realise they are at every meal service and are posted elsewhere in between… even at 2am. They are really incredible. Always with a smile. I don’t think I’ve experienced more hard working and friendly staff anywhere. My special mention goes to Antonis, who is insanely hard working and always there with a smile and a joke. He is a credit to the entire very strong HVR team. In summary another fantastic week here. This hotel is one very well oiled machine. Thank you.
