On the last day at our stay at casa cook. Beautiful hotel. The suite room is definitely worth the extra. We upgraded midway in our holiday. The other rooms can have pools that face walkways, but the suite rooms are very private and just faces the mountains. Staff are amazing and the manager Panagiotis, is so friendly and approachable and never fails to say hello with a smile on his face every day. I would say it’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful rooms we have stayed in. It is very tranquil away from tourists but still only 5 mins walk to a stoney beach, 10mins drive to a Sandy beach and about 30 mins (40 euros in a taxi to lindos and St Paul’s Bay). Only thing I would have done on hindsight is rent a car. We were probably only one of the few people who did not have a rental car. But the hotel is so nice you may not even want to leave!

The scenery, decor and food is 10/10. We arrived late and missed our evening meal but they plated us some sandwiches and gave us a ticket for a free lunch as we're half board, which was nice. They also gifted us with some bubbly on arrival for our honeymoon, again - really nice. Disappointing that clothes irons are banned and the laundry service to press clothes isn't cheap, especially if you have a few outfits. We had a bottle of wine bought for us by friends and sent to our room but we weren't allowed to take it to dinner, which feels like another way of them getting more money out of you. Cocktails aren't the cheapest (or strongest) but the beer is reasonable. The breakfast omlettes are by request and are really good, but I wouldn't have known about them had it not been for other reviews. It makes me wonder what else might be available that hasn't been communicated to us. Staff are really nice and friendly and the atmosphere at night is really nice. Would be a 5/5 if not for the complaints above, so it's a shame they let themselves down there. The location is incredible and the backdrop on the mountain is one of the best views I've ever seen. Pictures don't and can't do it justice. The guide to the hotel isn't the best and is only available through a website provided on check in, which could use some work on the web design front.

Room Tip: Block 800 basic rooms have an amazing view of the mountain. Consider your clothes iron situation...

Casa Cook is situated in a very beautiful spot on Rhodes. All the rooms are beautifully made and come with their own private pools. The degustation menu is great and cannot be more highly recommended. Will come here again.
