This is a small B&B in the Tramonti (mountains) near Maiori about 7 km for the center of Maiori.
If you do not have a GPS, (even if you do) follow/print the directions listed on their website or you may not be able to find it. Google & Bing maps send you all over the coast and they make no sense. If arriving late at night you will only see the signs for the hotel if you are heading towards Maiori just after the DSM station.

The folks who run it are extremely friendly and service oriented. They do NOT speak English and it is Cash only, although Venere (Italian booking site) and Expedia say differenty.
The rooms are exceptionally clean and the lay out is functional, basic and proper. Everything is in good shape however it is not luxurious, so if you are expecting luxury, this is not the place for you.

The room come with breakfast, just call her and let her know what you would like. It was a quick continental, coffee, etc. Maybe it is different in season as they set up breakfast on the veranda then.
There is internet, wireless only in the lobby and the rooms located immediately next to the lobby area. Otherwise you have to plug into their router (they have the cable) . If you are on the 2nd story, the wireless signal will not penetrate the walls nor reach your room.

Location< excellent base for day trips. In season, the main roads near the shore get crowded and this place is located close enough to a 3 way split to get you through the mountains to bypass some of those roads. Also located close enough to some major hiking trails. They have a couple (2) maps you can borrow from them.

Rooms< think, european layout and bathroom. Not too small but also not big. Doable, and again, very clean. She came and serviced the room every day when we were there. The beds were clean, with enough sheets, duvets, could use 2 more pillows, with relatively hard matresses.

Parking< they have an extremely steep driveway with limited parking in font of their property, there is a church parking lot just at the beginning of their driveway where we parked and it is covered by their security system cameras.

We had dinner several times at: LA VELA RISTORANTE in Maiori, which was truly good looking cooking with excellent service. Ask for Enzo, he is also the 3 times local fishing champion.

Overall, it was a great stay for what we were looking for and enjoyed it.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Like many others, we stumbled upon this beautiful bed & breakfast because we decided last minute we wanted to go to the Amalfi coast and everything else was either already booked or absurdly expensive. We rented a car and drove to this hotel from Rome.. a little stressful to get there if you're not used to driving windy Italian roads like we weren't. We got there easily using Google Maps. If you have a car, just park down beside the church, don't drive all the way up to the top at the front of the hotel. There's only room for one car and it's hard to get up there and get back down. We never paid for parking beside the church but I think there were signs talking about paying for parking but we didn't understand Italian so we took the risk. It's a quaint, beautiful, family run hotel, and when we checked in, the son of the woman who ran the hotel checked us in. He spoke good English but she didn't so when he wasn't there we just communicated with her using google translate as we can't speak Italian. There are not many rooms which makes it's so cute and cozy. Rooms are large and clean. We had a double bed in ours and a bunk bed. More than what we needed for two people. There is a patio right out the door of the room we stayed in with breathtaking views. We spent an evening on the patio just drinking wine and this is where my fiancé and I got engaged! And for that reason, Puesta de Sol will always have a special place in our hearts. There is also a complimentary breakfast every morning with coffee, espresso, juices, croissants, cookies, jams, etc. On our final day we had to check out extremely early to catch our flight and she left a tray in our room the night prior with all the goodies we would have gotten at breakfast. So thoughtful! It is very easy to drive from this hotel down to the beach. With the excellent price, big rooms, free breakfast, incredible view, easy to get to the beach, I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the area!

On your way from Naples to the Amalfi Coast, Puesta de Sol is the perfect place to spend one night or more. We were arriving from the USA on Christmas day and the owner was kind enough to pick up some food for us to have when we arrived. The area is very safe and the room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious as well. We had some difficulty communicating with the owners, but this was our fault as our Italian is nearly non-existent. The owners did all they could to make us feel at home and we truly appreciate that.

So cute and memorable! We had a wonderful time here. We just loved this town Tramonti. It was really by luck, or chance, fate really that we found this place. We were in Maiori and didn't know where to stay because everything was booked. So we called and luckily they had room for us.

Place with a suggestive view, not very easy to reach, but with an incomparable gift, the owner Antonietta. I have traveled enough in my life, I can say that I have hardly found a person so helpful towards customers.

Sul piano pratico assolutamente si. Se per altri motivi occorre che lo chieda alla conduttrice dell'attività. Saluti.
