Very attractively furnished hotel on the lakeside, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant offered lovely staff, beautifully presented seating and décor but above all very generous varied and delicious food. I would highly recommend this hotel as well as Riviera Travel and their lovely tour guide Lorella

After reading previous reviews on Trip Advisor, we were apprehensive about booking this hotel, but after spending a week there, I have to say that it's a pity that most of the reviews are written by people who love to find something to complain about. The location of the hotel is stunning, right across the lake from Bellagio with views...

This was our first stop on our European tour so we didn't have anything to compare it to. But we quickly found out that it is well located on Lake Como. The rooms are nice and the food was excellent. Nice pool and grounds.

Our room was really quite good, clean and airy, and as I booked a sea view I was surprised to have a lovely balcony. The balcony was spacious and we did not have to share till the last day. The shower basin overflowed as the water did not drain efficiently. However, the room was cleaned daily and toiletries replaced. We...

Just back from a week's holiday with the Travel Department staying at the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia. We left it a bit late to book a holiday this year and just settled for this because of availability. Paid extra for a room with a lake view (no rooms with balconies/suites offered). We usually check reviews on Tripadvisor before making a booking...

The room was fantastic as we must have had a family room going by the size. Good size bathroom with shower that had massage jets. The view overlooking the lake was brilliant. Unfortunately we were on the second floor which having the road outside was noisy first thing in the morning. The breakfast's were OK as it was buffet so...

We stayed here for our honeymoon at the beginning of September. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was just what we needed, simple but clean and safe. Plenty of loungers around the pool and amply dinning space. The hotel is located a short walk from 2 different ferry ports and by a small train stop. WARNING- the holiday tax...

Its location is one of the best things about this hotel. It is right on the shore of Lake Como. We were staying there with a Travel Department tour. It is not a hotel we would choose if travelling on our own. There is no village, just a few cafes and one shop. To access anywhere of interest requires a...

We have recently returned from staying at this Hotel (through Riviera Travel). The hotel has a good location and the reception lounge area was quite spacious with plenty of seating. Our room and bathroom were clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. What lets this hotel down is the food served for the evening meal and the " hot dishes"...

Thompson rates the grand Hotel Cadenabbia as a four star, but personally iI don't think it rates more than three..don't get me wrong ,the staff were friendly and helpful, the hot was clean and well kept,I think there was overbooking, with two weddings and a children's party booked in as well as a full hotel. The dining room was quite large ,but...
