The owners were so kind and helpful. They don't live at the B&B, but they met us in town and helped us find parking and drove us to their lovely B&B. The room was perfect and had a bathroom in it. The breakfast room had everything you could want and I loved the espresso machine! We loved Montalcino and had... More

We stayed at this B&B for two nights. It is a very small 3 bedroom B&B. We had the room downstairs by the kitchen and felt very closed in, all most claustrophobic. Our stay was in September so the temperature outside was pleasant but yet the room was very warm and uncomfortable to sleep. Bathroom shower very, very small and... More

I loved this B&B it was relaxing and clean and in an ideal location to explore the town. The breakfast is not amazing as the owners are not based at the accommodation, but they supply everything you need. The owners speak very little English but their friendliness shines through. Montalcinon is a perfect village to base yourselves while visiting Tuscany.... More

We stayed here in Montalcino for two nights as one of our stops during a wonderful tour of Tuscany. Il Sogno is well located near the village centre, and while we found the accommodation to be generally clean and comfortable (albeit not for those adverse to a bit of chintz), we had a miserable stay. On both nights, we were... More

We stayed five nights while exploring Tuscany. This B n B is the best we have stayed in. beautifully decorated rooms, good facilities, albeit a few stairs, but The place is spotless and the hosts are lovely, very helpful. Montalcinio was the perfect place to base ourselves in this area, the town is charming and everything you need including parking... More

The B&B is inside Montalcino old town close to the cathedral and is accessible by car for unload/load luggage; at the check in the manager gives you a pass to leave the car for free in a nearby parking place (accesible in 5 minutes by a a ramp of stairs). The 3 rooms are named as famous operas (we got... More

My wife and I went here during the September harvest season and it was a perfect time. This B&B is at the top of Montalcino so it is not for the faint of heart. My wife and I are pretty healthy but it was still a good walk at the end of the night up some stairs. The room was... More

Our four nights at "Il Sogno" left us well rested and in tune with Montalcino. The bed in the Boheme room was the most comfortable we've had in Europe. And we heard not a sound through the night. This B&B is a short walk to everything in the village and to parking, but just enough removed to be quiet and... More

Simple cozy place furnished with style and taste. We totally loved our room(Aida) and the small table in front of the house where we had a bottle or two. They rent the room for amazing price and if you want to stay in Montalcino, this is the place. There are many wine shops all around Montalcino but I suggest you... More

A lovely, tastefully decorated, well-appointed gem! There are only 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, each with a different opera motif - all FABULOUS!. If a tad hard to find because of the quaint streets in this little village, it is well worth it. Price is right, and the accommodations comfortable - not huge rooms but sufficiently large enough for... More
