Visited 20/1/17 Had not heard of this restaurants before but whilst walking by had seen the menu and that you'd could see the sea. Thought we would give it a try. The restaurant is large, well appointed and airy, but you do not feel crammed in. The view of the sea is excellent. Food is ordered at the bar. Cutlery...

Lunch at the Royal Albion in Broadstairs. Busy, ambient restaurant and bar-food service order by table number and pay at the bar. Generous crisp beer-battered Cod, good chips and a tasty pea puree plus Tartare sauce for my wife who was very pleased with her meal. I had an excellent but smallish Skate-wing perfectly cooked (not battered) new potatoes which...

Stayed here for a winter break, hotel was nice a busy giving a nice atmosphere, as some costal resorts & hotels can be a bit bleak, certainly not the case here. Lovely room overlooking Viking Bay, nice & clean, very warm & nice big bed. My only criticism would be that the bed was too hard for me, but that's...

Good hotel right on the sea front. Lovely rooms lucky to have sea facing room each time once with balcony. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast very good. Lunch is quite pricey. Good roomy bar comfortable seating. Good sea views.

Always pleasant professional staff to greet you with a smile!! Your better off supporting the independent businesses than Costa franchise's!!! I would say avoid Albion street's Costa, and come here for a better cup of coffee served with manners and is a lot cheaper!!! Also there is fresher food and better views!!! 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hi we stayed there for two nights in the top floor family room. What a great place it still is and they have extended the building at the beach side to be more spacious. We had dinner on one night which was very good and the breakfasts were also off a very high standard. Cleanliness was good, service was excellent...

This is a beautiful old building thoughtfully refurbished and with a really nice atmosphere But the quality of the food does not match the surroundings. The service is basic and quite slow however we would go again just for drinks.

I was looking for somewhere to have a coffee and passed this hotel and saw the coffee menu on the wall. It looked really cosy inside and ventured in. The staff were so friendly and I was able to get a table overlooking the sea which was lovely. There are comfy chairs too and it was full which, for early...

The Royal Albion was a wonderful 2 days away from the kids for my husband & I. The hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable. I imagine this place must be heaving in the summertime. We planned badly and hadn't realised it was school holiday time so it was a bit busier than we had expected but we were treated...
