We booked into this b&b the night before my friends wedding at cooling castle so we could relax the night before. Situated perfectly for this as we were only a 15 min drive away. Alison who runs the b&b couldn't have Been more helpful, she was very friendly and made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, beds...

The reviews for this B & B say it all. Beautiful place, very friendly welcome, excellent hospitality and an extremely nice home cooked breakfast! Highly recommend it for those passing through or on business. I would say that due to the open layout, that it would better suit couple rather than lots of noisy children, but that's just my opinion....

Our fabulous hosts, Alison and Pau, made us most welcome from the beginning of our week long stay. We stayed in the family suite which was large enough for a family of 3-4, with a small bedroom with a single bed, between the main bedroom/sitting area and the large bathroom, both had very comfy beds with warm snuggly duvets. We...

Stayed here for one night after visiting Rochester Xmas market, excellent location for Rochester. House is extremely nice and Alison made us most welcome with her friendly personality. The room was, like the rest of the house, very clean and fitted out to a very high standard. Very nice walks around the nearby fields. Breakfast was very good with plenty of...

Great B&B with a brilliant host, Alison who couldn't do enough for you. Fresh cooked breakfast and a lovely bedroom with the most power shower that I have experienced in a B&B and even some hotels. It is a little remote, but it didn't take long to drive into Rochester and I would rather be outside of a town. Alison...

We had a lovely stay, great location for the Christmas market in Rochester and for London. We had a great breakfast and couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room. The Dvd collection was vast and the breakfast was awesome. I would thoroughly recommend North Downs Barn for families and couples. Alison was also a lovely host and very friendly we...

Perfectly located for North Downs Way walkers, right on the path and at a logical end-stage point, the Barn is aptly named. From the outside it is architecturally stunning and the inside is even better with a huge two-storey hall and upstairs lounge for guests in the gallery space. The lounge even has a piano. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable...

This is a beautiful gem of a place which is excellently priced, well decorated and worth the booking. Set on a narrow countryside road you feel like you are secluded even though you're 15 mins from Gravesend. The whole place is well presented and decorated and the big comfy beds give you a restful nights sleep. A warm friendly welcome...

Me and my boyfriend stayed at North Downs Barn at the beginning of October and we didn't want to leave. We had the double room with a beautiful view of the countryside and stables below. Alison was so friendly, she even gave us a lift to the station as it was tipping it down with rain when we were just...

This barn is a hidden gem on the edge of a very busy commuter belt. Nothing is too much trouble. Peaceful location, extremely large airy room, very comfortable bed with super bed linen and the luxury of twin sinks in the bathroom. Wonderful hostess and super breakfast. One little comment is that the room no doubt has energy saving light...
