A year ago we got married at this hotel and it was an amazing day. Thanks to all the staff involved. This year we went to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at the hotel and it was just as lovely as the year before when we got married. We were put in the bridal suite we were in on our... More

We had our wedding venue here and it was a perfect day! Couldn't be happier. Food was really good and how we asked. Decorations and tables were set up perfect. Also loved the DJ provided by coleshill. Staff were very friendly especially Beth! The accommodation we stopped in was absolutely amazing and was lovely waking up and going down for... More

Pleasant staff, clean room, breakfast good. We felt it was good value and had everything necessary for an overnight stay. The pub and restaurant were pleasant too. BUT our room was unbearably hot. Because of this we were forced to sleep with the window open and the noise from the road below meant that we got minimal sleep. I wasn't... More

We had our wedding at the cameo suite which is the function suite of this hotel and we could not be happier from room to staff and the whole experience was fantastic. The manageress and staff were very professional and could not do enough to make sure we had a special day. The hotel itself is situated on the top... More

In relation to "Disaster! !!!" I was another member of the party who attended for the meal and just to clear a few matters up in relation to the reply the manager posted. Our family actually were not advised of a 45 min wait but yes we were accommodated and seated for 8.30pm. There are no arguments about the seating... More

A friend and I stayed overnight and although the room was nice, certainly adequate for an overnight stop, there were a couple of things that let it down a bit. We were on the second floor and the room was very hot. The radiator didn't turn completely off, there was no air con or fan and although the window did... More

Feels like a countryside venue. A little bit outside of Birmingham but close enough to the airport and motorway to be really accessible. Staff are friendly and attentive but in relaxed way. Venue for business meeting was very high quality. Accommodation exceptional and good food to with a nice atmosphere in the pub. Thanks Adam and team

A pleasant hotel which we used to break up a journey en route to North Wales. Very welcoming staff, soft bed with plenty of pillows. A bit of TLC needed in the bathroom. We were in the annex across the road which was good as it avoided noise from the bar but the road was very busy in the morning... More

Stayed here on a Friday evening. Our room in the annexe across the road was supposedly in the 'quiet' part of the hotel. Unfortunately we were right opposite the hotel's front door which was surrounded by revellers, making sleep impossible until well past 1am. Earlier in the evening, bouncers at the entrance prevented undesirable (or uncool?) people from joining the... More

Thanks for your review on your weekend visit. We are sorry that you did not enjoy the quieter rooms in the Georgian Annex.
