We were going to Belfast to move our daughter into her new flat and uses the guesthouse the night before we sailed and the night of our return. We had a double room which was finished to a extremely high standard extremely clean and very comfortable. The attention to detail were superb. The breakfast was as the picture looked and...

We stayed at Rhins for one night before taking the ferry to Belfast. The guys running it were great and very helpful. The facilities in the room were excellent and the breakfast was wonderful with all you could wish for cooked to order. We would definitely use them again for a overnight before the ferry or as a base for...

Can't rate this highly enough, clean, beautiful rooms with gorgeous bathrooms - only stayed the night as getting the ferry in the morning - could easily have stayed a week ! Easily the best breakfast had in a long time, and as there is no licence- patrons are welcome to take their own drink - ice & glasses can be...

We chose this hotel as it is very close to the ferry port and it was convenient for us to stay overnight and catch our ferry the next morning. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely chap, who offered us a free upgrade to the Churchill Suite 😄 I have to say the suite is top notch, very very...

With an early Monday morning ferry journey to Ireland, I needed to stay near to the ferry port the night before. I use an agency to book through work. To be honest, I wasn't given a great deal of choice for the area. Rhins of Galloway was the only choice that was within price policy. I didn't look at the...

The owners' welcome is bright and warm; the breakfast is extremely good; our room was very well-equipped. The dinner recommendation was spot-on. If you're taking a Cairnryan ferry, it's a few minutes away. Unreserved praise for Rhins of Galloway as a cut above.

On a touring holiday of Scotland we booked just the one night at Rhins of Galloway as it was on route. What a wonderful guesthouse, had we known how great this place was we would have planned to stay longer. The hosts John and Paul make you very welcome and nothing seems too much trouble for them but then they...

I used Trip Advisor to look for some accommodation for our first trip to Scotland. The first was fully booked and the second was the Rhins of Galloway. So glad first accommodation was full. We have just had four nights stay in a place where we could not find a single thing wrong. Paul & John run a great family...

From the outside this place is really pretty and inviting, it's not until you get inside that you see the real beauty, exquisite furniture and pictures everywhere. Only booked the Churchill suite for 1 night but so wish we had been staying here longer. Plenty of space, well kitted out with everything you need. Fantastic friendly welcome from the host...

We arrived late and had to leave early, our welcome was friendly and the rooms were lovely. Our packed breakfast was great and left in coolers for us overnight. Would defiantly come back and stay longer.
