We arrived within minutes of disembarking from the Larne ferry. A lovely warm welcome from Paul. And here's what sets this hotel apart its run by people who care passionately about doing a great job. Fresh milk offered in a flask ready for coffee in the morning and whilst the hotel isn't licensed we had glasses, ice, cork screw and...

Nice big breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff but is in the middle of nowhere, beside a very busy road that connects two ports to the rest of the UK, so every few hours 24 hours a day, the road can get very busy with both trucks and cars

Stayed here for a night for an early ferry crossing the next morning. Owner was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed about getting our ferry the next morning. Room was great, good size, clean and stocked with everything we could need. This is a perfect place to stay as it is very close to the ferry...

A good selection of the facts combined with a variety of fictional elements to add some interest (sadly, not one single bit of abuse, cursing and jeering happened during the entire incident). This reviewer and companion arrived at speed into our grounds at 14:00 (despite check-in being 15:00) towing his unexpected industrially laden trailer with mismatched number plates. In attempting...

Clean and very welcoming, the rooms were well set out with plenty of soap, shampoo & all the stuff you expect in the bathroom, dressing gowns etc.The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was made fresh to order and every option I can think of was available. Will definitely use them again next time I pass that way.

You could not wish for a nicer B&B, spotless, the owners can't do enough for you. You even get dressing gowns and slippers. Only issue is that it's not licensed but you can bring your own. Rooms even have bottle openers.

Stayed for 2 nights as needed to get ferry to and from Ireland (coming back the same day). I'd read the rave reviews but didn't quite understand why it was so good. This is, however, probably the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Well worth the small extra charge for a suite, excellent breakfast and, as others have noted, superb...

My wife and I stayed here twice within a week due to taking the Cairnryan ferry to and from Ireland. The most noticeable thing was the proprietors' attention to detail. This may be a guest house but the rooms are akin to the best hotels. Ours was more of a suite with a small hall, a bedroom, a shower/toilet room...

We stayed here for one night just before Christmas prior to catching the ferry to Belfast. I booked by phone the previous evening, a easy and very pleasant experience. On arrival we were warmly greeted and told that since a suite was available, we could have it at no extra charge. The suite was really lovely with a comfortable lounge,...

Stayed here at short notice because ferries were all cancelled on the 29th December. On our arrival we were greeted at the door by the owner, sorry we didn't get his name but we were made to feel welcome. He was very informative, telling us the latest about the weather and the ferries, he also told us where we could...
