My brother and I stayed here on a tour of Scotland on our motorcycles. We had ridden about 250 miles in the rain that day. We arrived to a very friendly hotel, an immaculate cosy room with lots of space, friendly locals at the bar to chat with and some fabulous food. The steak and Ale pie was to die...

First impressions count, being told that you had paid to much for the room by the owner(Annette) and she would contact my booking.com and change the room price for us. The rooms are excellent, the food is good and the service superb. The location speaks for itself, the place is right in the centre of the highland five hundred.

I had just came off the mountain and arrived looking for a room at short notice, I was very lucky as there was only one left. All the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Room was perfect and after a long hot shower arrived for dinner (mighty large portion) Steak and ale pie with home made chips and veg. Superb!...

A lovely hotel with brilliant staff. Rooms are excellent. Stayed on a cycling holiday and they locked bikes away allowed us to preorder breakfast so we could leave early. Evening meal was really nice. They are doing some refurbishment but no disruption at all it will be even better when done. Thank you.

I stayed one night in this hotel while travelling on business. I stayed in room 7 a twin room which was very comfortable and clean. I also had dinner in the hotel which was excellent and good value. In the morning the breakfast was freshly cooked to order and very enjoyable. The staff during check in and serving in the...

Having had a meal here 3 years ago and enjoyed we returned not once but twice which must be a good recommendation as we come from the South of UK. Food is good generous portions with variety to suit all tastes and at a reasonable price.

Stayed here with my 3 mates on our annual motorbike tour of Scotland. We all had single rooms. My room was a bit small, but everything was very clean & comfortable. Food was excellent, that includes the breakfast choices & evening meals - superb. A warm welcome from all the staff made us all feel very much at home. Great...

We stayed here one night and it's well appointed, even during a major refurbishment. The bar, breakfast dining area and bedroom were all brand new, but we didn't go into the bigger function suite. The reception desk and bar serving area is very compact. It may be temporary, but we had to go outside and back in another door to...
