First let me say that the location is a little out of the way. No problem if you have a car. We did not have a car and we were there on a Sunday when the bus does not run. Important note to any ne traveling in the Highlands local bus service on Sunday can be limited. Also many things...

Second time at this hotel and it excels once again. Great welcome with nothing too much trouble as we were cycling and asked were we could store the bikes. Leave them at the front and we will sort them out.....the only time in seven hotels we got that. Food is fantastic and the setting fantastic with views of the Ben...

Beautiful well-placed, great views. Pine clad room. Glass walls to dine and view. Brilliant food and friendly service. Location fab. Tranquil. Did not want to leave. Seafood lovely. Would definitely return. Wish you were closer. Unique breakfast. Ben Nevis whiskey and venison were great.

Great place to look out onto Ben Nevis Range on sunset! First night in the Fort William area so we arrived fairly late. They were accommodating and still provided great service and lovely food! We were slightly rushed but still had a good time

I made the reservation one month prior arrival by Expedia choosing "payment in Hotel" option. The hotel contacted me after the reservation and asked all of my credit card details including BC Code by email. It was sent. THE HOTEL CONFIRMED MY RESERVATION BY EMAIL after that. On the day of check in I had to drive 5hrs to get...

What more could you ask for - good location, beautiful views, very warm welcome, great food, comfortable room, and everywhere spotlessly clean. Dinner was delicious, served in the restaurant looking out to the lovely view. There is a stylish and comfortable guest lounge, where we were served coffee and shortbread on arrival. This was such a great find, we would...

We stayed here for one night during a tour of Scotland. Very friendly welcome (tea & cake!) and helpful, friendly staff. Our room, which had a view towards Ben Nevis, was a little cramped but for a short stay was fine. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant and we would happily stay at the Old Pines Hotel again.

We have just come back from fantastic stay at this hotel. Really lovely food and extremely comfortable rooms. Beautiful views. Made to feel really welcome from the minute we arrived to the time we left. Friendly but not intrusive. Above all, Ken, the owner, could not have been more helpful. Our return train was cancelled but he drove us the...

Visited Old Pines and our way to Skye. A little hard to find but managed with the help of the sat nav. Great welcome with coffee and cake when we arrived. We had a room overlooking the front car park and a great view of Ben Nevis. Room was well equipped but perhaps a little small with a chair in...
