We came upon Fraoch Cottage quite by accident after an earlier booking elsewhere turned out to be a disappointment and what a wonderful find it was. From the moment that Sheila took us through the cottage door we knew we had found something special. The whole place was immaculate, comfortable and very well appointed. We enjoyed five glorious days touring...

If you want a clean, comfortable, and quiet stop in Spean Bridge that is top quality, then this is your place. Ian and Sylvia were wonderful hosts providing a delicious breakfast, including her award winning homemade jams and homemade bread. The view is breathtaking and our party of four was welcomed with kindness and professionalism. If I ever am fortunate...

My cousin and I recently stayed at Fraoch Cottage (self catering) attached to the Heathers, it is such a delightful cottage with everything there you could want, and the views are magnificent. Sheila supplies things that you do not usually get in self catering but the absolute luxury was the home made shortbread and bread that she had made both...

This place is really more than excellent. I haven't seen such a beautiful property. It is really amazing to see how Ian and Shiela are taking care of the beautiful house, without missing an inch of all the rooms, furnitures and every items in the place. The house was rebuilt in 1999 but is spotless clean as if built only...

This bed and breakfast was comfortable and friendly, with beautiful views of Loch Lochy. The rooms were tastefully furnished, really clean and with excellent showers. The breakfasts were similarly high quality: the food was locally sourced and tasted great! It had been lovingly prepared and presented and the hosts were justifiably proud of their standards. They were also kind and...

My friend and I chose this area so that we could take the train from Fort William to Mallaig, for the fantastic scenery and to see where some of the Harry Potter scenes were filmed. We looked for a near by B&B and found The Heathers. It is a beautifully situated homely place on the edge of the Loch. And...

We stayed here recently for two nights on a whistle stop tour of Scotland. I wish we could have extended the time! Our bedroom was superb, so tasteful with everything you could want, White bed linen with a sheet between the duvet and bottom sheet, very unusual we found. This was a perfect place to stop over. Everything is carefully thought out and the owners cannot do more to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious and homemade (including the scones, cakes, shortbread and oat cakes), the products (bacon, sausages, eggs) locally sourced and even the toiletries in the room come from a local company. Spotlessly clean and...
