Recently did a 3 week period of work in the area. Stayed at The Park and was perfectly satisfied with the Location, Accommodation and Food (especially the steaks) Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone working or visiting this area of the country

The hotel provided a large group of 22 walkers with an excellent evening meal, choice of three roasts with a good selection of fresh vegetables, the chef even went to the trouble of providing gluten free gravy! The service was quick and friendly. The one real ale was also good, well worth a visit if in the area.

We stayed at The Park Hotel after the second day of our long Offa's Dyke walk. We had asked for a twin and were put in a huge suite of rooms for a family. It was very comfortable and spacious for all our gear, and as we arrived soaking wet there was plenty of space for drying clothes. The bathroom...

We stayed one night at this hotel whilst attending a friends wedding on the weekend. Room was light with a lovely view of the garden, very tidy, bed was comfy. Shower was a little cramped but the hot water was great being at the right temperature straight away. The food for the wedding (starter, main meal and dessert) was generous...

I only spent a few days here but I enjoyed it. It's a large old house run by Alastair and Jane who are really friendly helpful hosts. Although I had quite a small room it was fine for me and the location was ideal as I was vitising relatives. On the edge of the Offa's Dyke walk, it would be...

This is a fine old hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We had a large room with a good view. The shower was only just adequate but our evening meal was excellent. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not up to standard. There was a very small selection of cereals and juice Cooked breakfast was also minimal with tasteless mushrooms, white toast only....

We stayed here whilst walking Offa's Dyke. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable, and a good size. We also dined here in the evening, and were quite happy with the quality of the food, and the service. Breakfast was good, too. Friendly staff. Recommended.

After an horrific experience across the road at the Old Pandy Inn we were extremely fortunate to cross the road and enquire as to whether they were still serving food (it was well after 9pm). After being warmly welcomed and assured the kitchen was still open we ordered food and a drink and while we waited we got chatting to...

We stayed here for a friend's wedding, and there were 5 adults sharing a family room (double bed, bunkbeds and a single). We were a bit concerned that we would be cramped, but actually the room was huge and there was plenty of room. The bathroom was also massive. The hotel is in a beautiful old house, and has loads...
