After booking a cabin several weeks in advance, and receiving our confirmation email (and a subsequent second confirmation by the proprietor Trevor to make sure we were coming!), we arrived at check-in time to find that there was no cabin available for us at all. Trevor told us he had made the decision to rent by the month, but had neglected to let us know in advance of our arrival. When asked to help us find another place in the village or environs, Trevor was very reluctant to do so and it was only with insistence that he helped us find a room. We were very disappointed at the lack of courtesy and professionalism.

I had a cabin that was right in the corner, it had a small sitting area right below the next cabins windows. The place is dated and needs remodelling. The price was right, I just stayed one night. I had to call a number to get an extra blanket. No microwave, but there was a toaster oven and pots and pans.

We recently stayed here for one night, June 24/21. The room was not clean. There were hairs on the floor in the living room and in the shower stall, crumbs and an old peanut shell in the utensil tray, a filthy toaster oven, some kind of “material” splashed down the outside and inside of the kitchen cupboard, and multiple bugs in the light shades. We would never stay here again!

Glacier View cabins decent place to stay if needing short stay visits. Checking in is very easy, even though you don't see anyone. There is a number to call if needed. Room was clean with fridge, stove, coffee, tea, toaster, etc and a wine opener. Yes! There is a nice grassy partially fenced area to sit and enjoy the evening. Great place to stargaze. Even better if dimmer outdoor lights used. There is a fan in the room which we really appreciated. The water pressure in the bathroom sink is almost none existent but the shower and bath were really good. Very quiet location at night. The only complaint is in room 2 the bed although comfy and sheets appeared clean, there was a smell of something. My husband didn't smell it on his side but I certainly could. I hope they're able to deodorize the mattress because I think that's where it was coming from. If staying more than one day there is no room service or replacing towels etc so you need to use them more than once. The TV did not work for the entire two days. Kept saying sattelite was offline despite doing what the sheet said to reset it.

Room Tip: All rooms are pretty quiet. Avoid room 2 until the smell in bed is fixed.

We stayed at these cottages for 2 nights. The host was there only briefly, though when we got a signal we were able to call him and he responded quickly. For our first night, our host told us in advance the key was on the office door, which it was, but there was also a general note for the public to use the key to check themselves in. Our room had a folded up futon cushion oddly in our room for no reason. Also the internet worked about 30% of the time. Because of this we asked our host for a discount on our second night and he agreed Our host did help us find a ride we didn't count on needing. However, our host was not around the day we left and thus we couldn't pay in person. Communicating by email we asked him to contact us about paying. We never heard from him again and a month later he charged our credit card the full amount, no discount.
