Words cannot explain the natural beauty found here. And it is so close to amenities as well. The kids loved the nearby Eastside grocery which offers ice cream and other great kid friendly treats. The lake is great and the owners make sure you are treated like a king. Try it folks, i assure u that you will be back....

Thank-you for your kind review! The kids are always our best marketing tool - they love Lakeside and love Eastside Grocery for camping treats!!

What a gem. Stayed in a cabana. Exactly what I expected and paid for. People that run this place are amazing and friendly. Lots of camping or RV ing spots. Just damn pretty cool. I'll be back next year and year after. Thanks! Negatives: damn birds so loud.

Oh not not noisy birds!!! So glad to hear you enjoyed your time in our cabanas. They're certainly a unique way to stay that appeal to many people that don't want a full-on room but also don't want to camp!

Sally and Dawn, as always, our two weeks with you were amazing. Our entire Irwin crew loved every second of it, even the crazy weather storms. You share your piece of paradise with us every year and we are so grateful for that. I know we are only one of many groups who come up annually with years of traditions...

Thank you Lyndsey!! We value so much all the many families who consider The Lakeside Resort to be their second home... it's so fun to have watched all you kids grow up and now you're bringing your own babies to Lakeside. It's my favourite part of owning this business!! Sally

This is the second time we have stayed at the Lakeside and have really enjoyed our time there...the washrooms and showers were clean... The water access is close and overall everyone was respectful of each other's campsite...there is no real store or easy access to coffee or snacks if needing something unless you head back into town

Thank you for taking the time to review our resort! As I mentioned in the preceding reply, our store has shrunk over the years based on demand. People seem quite happy to go to town for most things so we mostly just keep junk food now!! Sorry if you were inconvenienced!

Thanks for your great review! We used to have a store that sold more things that campers require however over the years we've found less and less demand. We are only a mile from town where there is everything you need so our store specializes in all the yummy stuff: candy, chocolate, ice cream etc.

We camped here from August 08 to August 21st. The staff is excellent, the beach is great as is the water in the lake. Overall this is a superb place to camp. Everyone is friendly and most people that we encountered have stay here numerous years. The only downside and the reason I give it a 4 instead of a...

Thank-you for your review! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed our resort but not so happy to hear you had your mornings disturbed. We do have a resident manager on site who is always happy to deal with these sorts of things. If we'd known, we would have definitely spoken to the baby's family and suggested that they go for...

I'm sorry you experienced The Lakeside Resort this way! In our defence, we had just experienced a huge windstorm the previous day that had downed trees and created an alarming mess all over the campsite. My staff had worked around the clock receiving evacuees from the two resulting forest fires in the town. Our regular clientele spent most of Saturday...

The cabin was situated on Tuc el Nuit Lake and it is considered family friendly. We have been going to the Lakeside for quite a number of years and meet friends that we have previously met during the summer holiday.

The family traditions that we watch at The Lakeside Resort are awesome! Children love tradition so much and Lakeside provides that for them each summer. Our penny candy day and sandcastle building contests are family favourites!! Sally

The Lakeside Resort is one of my favorite places in this world. Big words I know but let me tell you why: 1) The family atmosphere: there is no better place for families. The beach is wonderful, the lake is clean and quiet. There are canoes and bikes to rent. The campground isn't large so the kids are always close...

PS: And thanks for reinforcing that the wedding was nowhere near the event that our one star reviewer made it out to be!!
