Extremely friendly and helpful staff, one of the only hostels I found that had a kitchen so if you are wanting to save money it is nice. Kitchen was not the cleanest but my friend and I managed. The place seemed a little damp overall but they do try to keep it clean. Our private room and bath were clean...

Originally I had a very positive view of Sol Inn. The owner, Darwin, is very kind and super laidback. We arrived early in the morning after taking the night bus from Quito and even though we had no reservation and we may have woken him up by ringing the bell, he was very hospitable. This is why Sol Inn still...

Spent a lovely two nights here, could have spent a few days longer. Comfy beds, relaxing common spaces, good sized kitchen. Easy to organise day tour to Isla de la Plata. Wifi was very bad but that made it more relaxing in some ways! If you're a fish fan, head to the harbour in the mornings to get looooads of...

After traveling with my backpack for a few months, I found this lovely and calm place to stay for a few days at the pacific. Extrem friendly staff, a lot of places to relax in the green garden, clean rooms and open air kitchen. Perfect! Un lugar con mucho corazon! Gracias por todos!

Really cool hostel, all made of wood and looks a bit tree housey. Our 3 bed room was really nice for $10 each, including mozzie nets. There's hammocks and an outdoors but undercover kitchen but wasn't too clean, ok to cook basic food. Good location a block from beach.

This Hostal is pretty welcoming with its big patio, board games and hammocks. The location is central and the atmosphere is nice and inviting to meet new people. We had a double bed room that was clean and had a private bathroom but were really warm in it since it had no a/c. The Hostal has a kitchen which is...

Somewhat "expensive" for the coast ($8 a night for a shared room), but comfortable. Cheaper if you have a tent. Seemingly relaxed staff. Clean camp, hot showers. Nice communal areas and kitchen. Can't complain about much.

The atmosphere here is good because of the nice looking Cabañas and other travellers. Besides that the rooms are full of ants as well as the kitchen. We both got really ill while staying here (and we never get ill) of course, we cannot say for sure that it's because of this place but it didn't really suprise me after...

The kitchen was very dirty and the cats are walking on all the things. They are also lying in the bathroom sinks. The rooms are ok but the matraces are uncomfortable. It´s alright if you don´t expect too much but you can get nicer hostel for that money... All in all it´s a chilled and quiet place but we couldn´t...

Away from the dusty (or muddy depending on the time of year!) roads of Puerto Lopez is the Sol Inn. With cute little cabins made of bamboo, super cool artwork from previous travellers and beautiful plants through out, this place is really nice to hang out. There is a pool table and hammocks to use as well as a basic...
