Alan and his team have created a truly exceptional experience. Our tented unit was beautifully set right near the stream and with wonderful views of the mountains/cliffs right in front of you. Our unit was tastefully decorated with luxurious linen, king size bed, all set above the ground on wooden stilts with a patio too. The highlight of the unit...

We recently spent 3 nights at Black Leopard Camp with our 3 children. The tents are fabulous, the beds are superb and the outdoor bathrooms are heaven. The view is lovely, however, you do need to look directly up at the cliff faces for the view as it is not a sweeping and open view from the tents. The location...

We had an amazing 3 night stay at Black Leopard Camp. Hospitality was second to none and we must thank Alan, Eileen, Julius and the other staff for looking after us so royally. The food was excellent. Black Leopard Camp is set in a 6,000 hectare reserve wihich is dramatic, hilly and beautiful. Above all we enjoyed the game drives...

As soon as you drive in the gate, you're welcomed by an incredible view of the mountainous and surprisingly green landscape which is absolutely breathtaking! Beautiful animals all over. Even more insanely majestic views which engulf the camp site! You can't help but switch off and just appreciate. The staff are fantastic. Especially Dylan. Gives fantastic insight with enlightening enthusiasm!...

Stayed for 2 nights with 6 friends on their first nights in Africa. From the moment we were met and then descended into the valley and up the other side to the camp we were informed, entertained, nourished and watered in comfort. Not sure when a leopard was last seen, but this did not in any way detract from our...

Have just had a fantastic week at BLC where we experienced the bush first hand. The owners Alan and Lynsey are lovely and were on hand to help in any way needed. The guides Dylan and Justine were great- very knowledgeable and extremely capable. On our many drives with them they gleaned the bush carefully to point out the many...

Wow, what an experience. This is camp is not one where you will see the Big 5 but it does offer two of them and plenty other wildlife besides. The accommodation is in luxury tents – all of which have an additional outside bath/shower. The tents are well spaced along a solar lit path to ensure privacy and are furnished...

For my 2nd trip to BLC I was accompanied by my (somewhat shy) grandson, a 4th year university student studying wildlife biology and conservation. Unsure of what I was getting him into after an exhausting 2 day journey I was thrilled to feel like I was coming home and my grandson was being welcomed like family. Once again, we stayed...

Stayed at BLC as part of a tour. You don't come to this camp to see the big five, but for the stunning location, large comfortable rooms, great food (loved the kudu lasagne) and charming host and guides There is a resident bush baby who you can see in the communal area at night and a family of bush pigs...

Lovely views from our tent (not sure you should call it a tent). Very knowledgeable staff and everyone friendly and happy to share their knowledge and experience. The food was very good home cooked food. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in The ride into the camp is very bumpy but great fun just relax and...
