We stayed for 7 nights at the wonderful Mbuyuni Beach Village - and I don't think we have ever felt so relaxed! The location is stunning, on beautiful Jambiani beach, and there is a pool and loads of places to lounge about and unwind. The room was huge - as was the bathroom which doubled as a dressing room -...

My husband and I are staying at the Mbuyni Beach Village and absolutely love it. It's so laid back. The staff are so friendly and always go out of their way to have a chat. We are staying in a Banda which is a thatched roof modern hut. We can hear little waves breaking and there is a beautiful sea...

Everyone should stay here. The price is perfect. I booked through booking dot com and got such a good price. The location is perfect. Staff is so friendly. Food. Amazing. The board changes each day. Breakfast. Pool. Beach. What more can I say? Pool table and games too. I will be back. This is one of my favorite places on...

After a beautiful yet slightly tiring two weeks on the mainland, Mbuyuni beach village was exactly what we needed. Located on the beach, the resort has beautiful beach villa's overlooking the Indian Ocean (one of the best stretches of beach we've seen on the Island). There are plentiful hammocks and beach loungers around, all produced locally. The beach villa's are...

My boyfriend and I stayed here at Mbuyuni for 7 nights and we had an amazing time. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Mo and Dula during the day and Uhuru in the evenings, but everyone was great (just didn't catch all of their names!). The view is awesome and there are plenty of places to sit around and...

The prices are perfect for what Mbuyuni Beach Village has to offer. Staff are very helpful, friendly and actually, genuinely ask for your experience on the island, your stay at Mbuyuni and help your where you need helping with. As for the food. Breakfast is included and can be prepared so that you can enjoy it in your apartment or...

This is a budget hotel, a little tired at the sides and to some maybe basic in part but certainly worth staying. The hotel setting was just perfect with the accommodation near the pool and a few steps from the Jambiani Beach. An informal hotel with owner's dogs (very friendly) lying under the loungers. We don't normally eat in hotels...

The BEST food. The nicest staff. The most beautiful views. By far the most enjoyable stay at a resort/hotel we have had in a long time. The best value for money. Did I mention the BEST food. The menu changes every day. The chefs are culinary geniuses. Stay here!

Situated up on the coral outcrop between Paje and Jambiani with views over looking the Indian ocean. A menu of cocktails and food is displayed on blackboards by the bar and prices are reasonable and the food varied. Simple sandwiches and burgers average at about 15,000 tsh and are worth the price. Seems to be open all of low season...

The hotel setting is nice with a swimming pool and a restaurant overlooking the sea. The place is located outside the village and therefore minimum 20 min of walk or a taxi ride are needed for going to another restaurant. The hotel room was extremely spacious with a nice terrace in front of the pool and the sea. The room...
