Hotel is nice with excellent valley view. Family room is spacious sufficient for 4 adults. Food quality is excellent. Mr. Mohan and team has served breakfast with love and warmth. Overall experience is very good except few issues like hot water, power cut etc.
Firstly the management and services are truly excellent... The rooms are luxurious as well as cleanliness is maintained at mandatory level. The taste of food is mesmerizing.. I would surely rate 5stars for over all hospitality.
- Room and bathroom was neat and clean however only two towels kept for four persons. Got additional towels on repeated requests -Set top box not available and not connected to TV. Got the same after repeated reminders -Toiletries and tissue rolls not available in the bathroom at check in. -Buffet breakfast and dinner is okay but the refilling of food takes time so the visitors have to wait long and the essence of eating is lost. -Requested reception that I wanted to speak to Manager Lucky Singh, however I was given his visiting card to call back. -It is nearly 1.4 km from Mapro Garden and takes about 20 minutes by walk to reach there , so vehicle is a must. The road is very narrow and Is not walkable after sunset as there is no streetlight. -Had requested for a cab , however no response from Reception. Overall a bad experience , and seems there is lack of supervision and customer service.…
To start with I am shell shocked at the ratings people have given to this hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights & below is my experience 1) Once you reach the gates there is no one to help you with parking. You are supposed to figure it on your own that the parking is on road outside. This is also the scene every evening when you return from sight seeing. 2) The reception are just a bunch of locals with no training. Our conversation starts with them telling us that they will not allow us to check-in until full amount in paid. My agent had to call them asking them to check their records for full payment. It is not my or my agents job to do this due diligence before asking guests to make full payment 3) When asked for some help in understanding sight seeing routes everyone points to some once else to help. We were told some Prashant guy will help as he is local. He flatly refused. Finally a road side vendor helped us. 4) Lunch took its own time. We were the only one in restaurant but were told that since there is only one chef things will take time 5) The waiter serving was a shabby local who brought glasses with his fingers dipped in it. I am all for encouraging locals for job opportunities, but atleast some basic training needs to be provided before placing them in front of customer 6) Dinner plates & tea cups that are kept outside rooms not cleared for 2 days. They were taken away only after escalation 7) The guy carrying bags refuses to leave unless tipped 8) Now comes the worst part. Every night there is music played till 1 am. Dinner & drinks are served right at the entrance till 12:30 in night so guests can party hard till 1 am. This was a nightmare for my family. This is not a private bungalow where a couple of room guests can keep the entire hotel up all night. Nothing was done on escalating. As a matter of fact the management seemed completely supportive of it due to high alcohol consumption 9) All 3 days coming into the room after sight seeing, you do not have the required towels. Imagine being tired and wanted to freshen up. The response from house keeping is "I don't know, my shift just started" 10) The tea kettle was stinking as if not cleaned for months. Till last moment it was not replaced. He kept bringing the same kettle back washed. The entire hotel did not have an extra kettle to replace 11) While restaurant was ready to serve alcohol till late night they are not ready to serve anything from live counter like omlette or dosa. We were given it on first day & then told that its chargeable. Can you imagine omlette separately charged in breakfast ? Either ways I didn't see it in my final bill so am fine 12) Due to trees & a bungalow opposite there are no valley views 13) Breakfast is ordinary with cut papaya in the name of fruit every day. No cereals or warm milk To summarize if you want to go there with friends with no expectation of any kind of service, please go ahead. If you want peace of mind & tranquility, this is not the place. The 1 star is only for taste of 1 lunch we had on first day Ashish …
JIVANTA MAHABALESHWAR is at awesome location. Between Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. It is away from all chaos in town and gives you a calm and beautiful experience. A very good value for money experience. Small and sweet. If you are going to visit these places with family, then definitely book a room On weekends, there is live music too, so you can enjoy it while having your dinner. Food quality is very good. Definitely, a good hotel to stay. .. A special thanks to Prem who has helped us to make our stay comfortable😌😊

Hello, (Adit here) Me & my wife planned our honeymoon to Mahabaleshwar. We stayed at Jivanta Hotel for 2 nights. It was a memorable stay. The food, the hospitality we recieved, the services & etc. everything one could expect from a Hotel was top class here. Game Zone here was fun (we played pool & ludo after ages, apart from these Chess, Carrom, Foosball, Cricket Kit, Table Tennis & etc. were also available) Don't think twice on Food, once you're back to the Hotel after a long day of exploring Mahabaleshwar, you should without any doubt have your Dinner here (quality & quantity both were good) Special thanks and callout to following people here 1. Vijay Sir - He's exceptional in customer service (he'll care for you like his own baby) 2. Siddharth - He's an amazing person. Absolutely humble and helpful (our tummy was always full because of him 😊💯) 3. Gaurav - He packed us additional breakfast for our bus trip (only Moms do that🙃), too caring & genuine in his talks, gesture & behaviour! I've missed out on a lot of names, special callout to the Hotel owner or Manager (not sure who, but he puts on black blazer always, he's equally awesome 💯) All in all, a wonderful & pleasant stay!!!!…
Hygienic rooms, well maintained, awesome food quality with loads of variety, time to time cleaning of rooms, staff is too well mannered and can speak English, Hindi and Marathi as well. If I can rate i could rate this Hotel as 10/10
