If you HAVE to stay in Semporna.. stay here. it's not the typical backpackers place: it's more a Chinese business place. And ok, maybe you pay some more money than in other places (we paid 38 euro for a double room) but you'll have a huge room, with great views over the harbour, with a nice and clean bathroom and...

Booked a deluxe sea view room over Internet. Good check-in, superb room overlooking harbour & distant islands, fridge, enormous double bed & toilet amenities. Breakfast with both local &western options (toaster, cereals hidden behind cold drink machines and eggs-to-order bar). If you get down after 9am then be warned most western dishes have gone ( staff will get more if...

Recommended by Borneo Divers. Situated across bridge from main part of town - 5 min walk. Close to jetty for pick up for Mabul. Large spacious room, good amenities - saw swimming pool but did not use it. Breakfast geared towards local tastes. Okay as a transit hotel.

This is the third time I stayed at Seafest hotel & I'm still happy with my decision even though there are new hotels/inns sprouting around Semporna town now. This time I stayed at Superior twin village view for 3 nights, RM150/day inclusive breakfast for two. Extra person for breakfast has to pay additional RM18. As usual, Seafest delivers, be it...

I think that this hotel the best in Semporna, but it doesn't mean that you will be satisfied... Good: 1) big rooms 2) very tasty food in the restaurant 3) sauna, steam, gym 4) nice view to the ocean 5) close to many dive-companies Not good: 1) in some rooms there is no wi-fi at all ! And they just...

A nice business hotel and minutes walk away from the jetty. Good for those companies who intend to do seminars/meetings/functions while having funs in the nearby islands after all the business chaos. Reasonable pricing for a twin standard room at RM 99. My family really appreciate the comfortable beds and hot showers after the Mabul island snorkeling activities. My 9...

I stayed at this hotel in February 2012 during a transit from Tawau to Mabul Island for a dive trip. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the jetty and the shophouses where most of the dive shops are located. The hotel is average, with clean rooms, simple basic rooms which are clean but not luxurious. The hot shower...

This architect's nightmare which completly fails to blend in with the neighbouring fish wharf, offers everything you would expect from a professional 3 star hotel. I have nothing to object about the rooms, cleaning, friendliness or efficiency - the hotel lack any sign of personality, though. I came without a reservation - the lobby reception was friendly and I was...

The seafest is conveniently located right across from the jetty if you are here to transfer to an island resort. The hotel outside looks good, inside is in desperate need of a refurb and some elbow grease wouldn't hurt either. Nothing awful, no insects or rodents. Sleep quality was fine. I would stay again for one night. The breakfast is...

This is the second time i check in to this hotel. The hotel has extended since, with a new wing and a swimming pool. Also visited the gym, the gym is spacious and clean. Although the hotel has aged a little, it is still one of the best hotel in town. Thumbs Up!
