The cabins are close to all amenities but from the minute you enter the grounds you are immersed in a tropical paradise. We used Uvita as our home base for all our travels in the southern Pacific zone. The beaches were great and our boys loved the in-ground swimming pool at the cabins. Our cabin had a great kitchen so...

In July 2011, we travelled through Costa Rica with our three teenage boys. Uvita was definitely a highlight, thanks to the fantastic hospitality and excellent experience at B&J Cabins. The location is great - just a few minutes from the Uvita National Park, and on a quiet road just off the main highway. The cabins are well appointed, well equipped...

The cabins and grounds are all quite lovely and it seems like the owners put a lot of effort into establishing the place, but then let things go. Beyond basic maintenance of everything, there was a general air of casualness: while some things were very nice (great, lush towels!) other things were oddly lacking. The pool is large and clean,...

A little piece of paradise. The cabins are very roomy with ample living space. They come with a nice fully stocked kitchenette (cook-top and refrigerator) and air-conditioning (a must, if you ask me). The property also comes with a very nice swimming pool/spa and an outdoor barbecue. The owners are very generous and accommodating. It is located minutes from the...

I stumbled upon B & J Cabins while endlessly surfing the Internet for the perfect place to stay while in Uvita. When I saw photos of their cabins and their inexpensive rates, I knew instantly I wanted to stay there. I was slightly apprehensive though, since there were no customer reviews and very limited information online about them. I decided...

This was my first trip to Costa Rica and it couldn't have been better. The owners, Barb and Bob, were the best! They were the friendliest people and their cabina's were so clean and cozy. Their son, Tom was awesome, too! He let me tag along with he and his friends to go surfing. Being new to the area, and...
