We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our 2 week trip around Costa Rica and loved it. The setting of the tents is great, each one has their own balcony, the pool area is really pretty and the overall location is very peaceful. The tents are overall comfortable with a great big bathroom and a huge king...

We stayed in one of the super spacious 'tents'. You really don't require hard walls in an abode unless you plan to put pictures up... and the shower, fridge, fan and spacious bathroom certainly made us feel like we were in a well proportioned hotel room. The road up to the hotel requires a 4X4 which is a lot of...

We stayed 3 nights in Heliconia cabin. This place has great views and is a good location to get to the ocean without the intense heat of the lowland. Jorge gave our friend a surf lesson and he was thrilled with the whole experience. The owners are very responsive to any problems or needs. It made for a very relaxing...

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manoas during an epic 2 week trip traveling throughout Costa Rica for the first time. We stayed with Steve, the owner (aka Happiness Engineer) who has the most luxurious super tents with panoramic views of the forests. Be sure to see very rare egg plants never seen anywhere in the world!

For a peaceful yet exhilarating experience look no further. The owners of Manoas are the opitomy of service with unparalleled attention to detail. They have made our trip unforgettable not only because of their genuine hospitality, but because they go above and beyond to make your stay one to remember. Steve's coffee alone makes breakfast every bit worthwhile. The cafe...

Even though we only spent two days at Manoas we could have easily spent a week. We were in for an adventure and definitely got one! Steve was easy to work with and even provided us with the location (you need the Waze app for all of Costa Rica in my mind) and a pin drop to get to it...

Really really loved this place. We stayed in one of the tents but there are bungalows available.Steve the owner is very knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Eg we arrived with a lot of smelly clothes and they washed them at cost, which was a real godsend. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the grounds more fully....

We recently completed a 12 day intensive training at Manoas and found the staff and facilities excellent for our purposes. As a teacher it is extremely nice to know that the housing and dining needs are taken care of so I can focus my energy on the students. Steve, the owner, was always available and helpful in suggesting services we...

What a gem of a place. It is only a couple of miles off the main highway but you feel like you're in the middle of an Amazon rainforest. And you have all the amenities one could want - pool, river(s), AC, gourmet kitchen, great balcony with dining and seating. Dos Rios (the big house) has four bedrooms. Our whole...

Owner - manager Steve was helpful and welcoming. When we left something behind he immediately contacted us and sent it ahead. Lots of birds. Quite a bit above Uvita so it's cooler and quiet. The pool is very nice and easily accessed. Kitchen and rooms are well designed and appointed. Our only complaint was that the bathroom is downstairs by...
