This is our second stay at the Fjord. They expected us and saved the same room for us we loved so much the year before. Hotel Fjord is how you do hospitality. Instead of cutting you off if you're 5 minutes late for breakfast, they tell you, "Breakfast is until 10;30, but if you're late, we'll feed you anyway, we won't let you go hungry." The room was spacious and gorgeous, with a balcony overlooking the Black Sea. The owners are present and hospitable; the staff is amazing. It's a perfect vacation hotel. Book early: it sells out fast, and no wonder!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We loved the cleanliness of the rooms but the best part was the sound of the waves that you can hear from the terrace of the room. A quiet hotel with a great location that will guarantee an amazing time during your stay in Sozopol. It was our first visit but we will definitely visit again when in Sozopol.

Fjord is beatiful place to relax. 1) Good location - 5 min to both beaches and new city centre, 15 min to old city centre. Good view on sea from the rocks. 2) Room type A is big, with seaview balcon, TV, condition, very comfortable bed, mini bar, very clean. Towels and bed linens have a pleasant aroma. 3) Breakfast are very good and with changing assortment. 4) Hotel has nice bar on ground floor. Big thanks for Ivanka, Todor and their team for kindness and helpful! Your hotel is super!

This a beautiful and well run hotel. A real gem. The staff are good humoured and happily go about their daily tasks. They went to great lengths to ensure we enjoyed our holiday. We spent 10 days here and enjoyed every single one of them. The room and bathroom were cleaned immaculately every day. Our room had a beautiful view of the Black Sea and indeed so has the breakfast room/bar.. We have stayed in previous hotels in Sozopol but none compare to this one. It is very well situated between the beach and it is close to the old town. Very quiet at night and it was lovely to listen to the sea lap on the rocks. Just loved it. Thank you Todor and Team.

In all a lovely little hotel built on a rocky outcrop and overlooking the Black Sea. The welcome at reception from Pavlin was warm and friendly, our room very comfortable with a pleasant sea view from the nicely-sized balcony and breakfast can be eaten outside on the terrace and features a goodly spread. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, but beware that seemed to offer a large menu only to find that very few options were available, maybe however that was the time of the season. However when your evening out’s over a great way to finish is by purchasing a further bottle of red wine from the bar downstairs and sipping that on the balcony just listening to the sea. And then sleep with the door open and listen to the sea when you wake up. Beach, if you want a swim, is only a two-minute walk up the road, although we found this crowded. The hotel will lend you towels and the balcony has facilities to dry your swimwear. Make sure also to have a walk to and around the old town – a bit taken over with tourist shops but still featuring some beautifully tranquil corners. In conclusion, a pleasant way to spend a couple of nights and great value for money; and a word about the owner/manager – probably the nicest bloke we met in our travels around Bulgaria! Oh...and do some research on the "anoxic qualities of the Black Sea" - you'll never look at it the same way again....

Hotel Fjord is extremely well groomed and clean hotel. The staff is courteous and ready to assist. The location of the hotel is great - right on the rocks where the waves break. The sea view is great, opens very wide horizon. The room in which I've stayed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Every day the rooms were cleaned and towels replaced. Breakfast was hearty, delicious and different each of the three days of my stay at the hotel.

The hotel fit perfectly to each and everyone of our mixed group of adults, teenagers and kids - with its comfortable beds, DVD players, WiFi access, great views, tasty food...and many other things that go unnoticed just because they work well for you. Which is my personal definition for luxury ;-) Loved the location - just over the sea, within a short walk from the beach, and a longer walk from the restaurants and concerts in the Old Town. Felt just right after dinner, before sleep. Special thanks to the owners and staff from all of us!

Small family hotel with excellent service. Rooms are perfectly clean and tidy with plenty of space. The sea view is magnificent. I slept with open doors and enjoyed the sound of the waves. The hotel is situated on a walking distance between the two main beaches of Sozopol. I strongly recommend it
