This year we decided to come back to Sozopol, to a different hotel, that is closer to the old town. Location it is perfect. 10 min walking to the old town. We have walked on the street that is back of the hotel. Here on the left and right side there a lot of restaurants to chose from. Each day we eat in a different place. The food was good, fresh. The hotel has few parking spots and we were lucky to find one, for 10 BGN/day. After a long trip from home we entered into the lobby of the hotel, that was spotless and smelled very nice. We were given the key to our apartment pretty fast. It was at first floor, a superior apartment. The apartment consists in a living room divided in 2- a place for eating and a place for sleeping and a bedroom. There are 2 separate bathrooms, identical- with bath tub. We had 3 balconies. The down side was the fact that the room had a street view, that sometimes got busy during night time. We also had our apartment near the ventilation system that had a constant buzzing. It is a central air-conditioning, but it is working very well. But dispite all that we managed to have a good night sleep. The apartment is very big, with a lot of storage places. The sofa is not very high - it seems like you are sleeping on the ground. In the kitchen there are only 4 glasses and a stove. Nothing else. We brought our own plates and cutlery. The fridge is medium size and very powerful. It is true the room needs an update- the furniture is quite old, but still functional. But these are some details that did not change the way we felt during our holiday. There is a table with 4 chairs. Cleaning of the common areas was done thoroughly every day. I can not say the same thing about cleaning the room. It was cleaned every day, but not as they did with the lobby for instance. There were not the same smell. The towels were changed when we wanted to. Breakfast was pretty good- fried/boiled eggs, omelet, sausages, cheese, patisseries, fruits, cereals, tea, coffee. We chose to eat outside. It was very nice in the morning. Pool - was good size, it did not a lot of chlorine, like the other pools. We used it couple of time because the sea was rough and had seaweeds. The water was very warm. Of course the weather was hot. The beech behind the hotel was Harmani beach it is a wide sandy beach, with commodities sunbeds and umbrella. Unfortunately it was rough and I did not like it at all. The sea is quite deep starting from the shore. We decided to go on Central beach in Sozopol, that was a little better, but again a lot of seaweeds. Eventually we went to Duni where the sea was crystal clear, calm and perfect for swimming. On every beach there is a safeguard. On my last day the sea on Harmani beach was perfect for swimming, to. We went on the beach to watch the sun rising. I think that it depends on the weather. If it is windy you can always go to Duni and have a perfect sea. I appreciate very much the fact that the hotel replied to my emails very quick and efficient. They gave me a very good rate.

Great location, nice stuff. The restaurant is not working after breakfast. If you want to have lunch- outside. The rooms are spacefull, but old. They will be renovated next year. Kitchen is tottaly empty - no pan, no forkes, no knifes or plates/cups - nothing. Pool is great, water is perfect temperatur. There are always free umbrellas and chairs to use.

I very rarely write reviews but I need to warn you this is a disappointment. 1) very unhygienic rooms. They refused to give me a clean room DURING COVID the floor and bathroom were covered with OLD thick black hair. Very disgusting if it’s not your own. I had to wear shoes to go to the bathroom. 2) unfriendly staff at reception. The hotel was empty due to our late check in hour. They made me unpack my whole suitcase on the street having my underwear lying everywhere to fetch my passport as they do not accept ID 3) nobody will inform you about the breakfast they Tell you to get some from the steer outside 4) upon request to speak with the general manager they said he was not available. They refused to notify him at the reception. Don’t go to this hotel if you want a clean and relaxed vacation

Fantastic location 1 minute from a lovely beach and restaurants. Large apartments even though AI. Lovely pool, very nice temperature. Sozopol is a traditional Bulgarian resort so no chain fast food etc. Good restaurants overlooking the sea in old Sozopol. Food not very good at the hotel. If you are thinking about going here price up bed and breakfast or self catering. Bulgaria gives very good value for money.

The hotel was very clean, reception staff were excellent and very helpful. Drinks were fine on the all inclusive package, food was lovely for all inclusive and as a family there was someting suitable for all of us at all meal times. Eating out is really cheap for a family of four around £20 including drinks for an evening meal, there are loads of really nice places to eat just 2 mins walk from the hotel. The place itself has not been overrun by the British which is a refreshing change, the locals were very nice and helpful and kind to the children. The hotel pool has a seperate shallow childrens pool, the main pool has two shallow which go gradually into the pool which is 150cm at the deepest point so pretty safe for the children. The kids entertaining team seemed very good during the day even though our two didn't take part while we were there as we couldn't get them out of enjoying the pool area. No evening entertainment but the old town is a nice walk during the early evening soaking in some culture and local Sozopol, again cheap for a drink by the sea before heading back for last orders! The apartment we had was great, really really clean and very spacious. Master beadroom with balcony, seperate bath with shower, living room with sofa bed for the kids with balcony, kitchen and dining area within the living room to inlcude fridge and freezer (bonus!). Full air conditioning and safe balcony as our two (5 & 7) could not open the door without an adult. No issues finding a sun bed and plenty of room around the pool. The sea is 2 minutes away and really nice, bit choppy on windy days, sand is clean and soft. Overall we had such a nice time we hated coming home and will be going back. Would highly recommend this hotel as a good all rounder - you will not be disappointed. We have returned relaxing and refreshed, best European holiday we've had by far!
