If you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced and a bit different, then you will like Hotel Michelet. We chose a room at the back of the hotel, which had a small balcony and views over the lovely architecture of Soulac sur mer. The room was well appointed and very pleasant with free wifi. Breakfast was delicious and well worth...

We were 6 cyclists touring Bordeaux in early September. Hotel Michelet is a great place to stay. Very friendly, comfortable and good value. Wholesome breakfast. Host also loaned me a phone charger! Secure bike storage.

We stayed here for two nights in September with friends. We all found the hotel very clean and comfortable. M. Michelet was very friendly and welcoming. Although no car park, parking was readily available in the side streets. Wifi was available in the room once the code was obtained. Would certainly return.

Clean, bright rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is one block off the ocean front, a quiet spot in a low-key beach town. Many visitors get around Soulac on foot or bicycle, which cuts down on traffic. There’s no air conditioning, but the sea breezes kept us cool.

We were travelling in late October and it was already well into the evening when we arrived at Soulac sur Mer. We drove around town a bit and were really concerned that everthing had closed for the season when we spotted this little hotel. They had a nice room with a little balcony for about 70 euro. The room was...

We booked a stay in Hotel Michelet at extremely short notice in the run up to Bastille Day. It was the only place we could find on the west coast within 200km and therefore we had no expectations. Wow - what a delightful surprise. We extended our stay to four days and left ourselves with a long last day drive...

We followed the advice of tripadvisor to select this hotel in early September 2013. We were not disappointed. The service was authentic and friendly. The rooms were clean. To be noted, although the beach is a few steps away from the hotel, you cannot really have a sea view from the sea side rooms.
