We always ask for the room overlooking the weir - such a great view. We come back every year to relax and explore more of this fascinating area. Lovely walks from the mill along the river, places to explore and great cuisine locally. We have stayed in many chambre d'hotes throughout France but this is our favourite.

This was our third stay at Moulin de Latreille and as usual I slept like a baby! The beds are so comfortable and the sound of the water lulls me to sleep immediately. Each time we stay here Fi and Giles have made further improvements - the new covered patio with the beautiful view of the garden and weir is...

Moulin de Latreille was built by monks in the 12th century, but has all modern amenities and very comfortable rooms that reflect Giles and Fi's artisitc sense and excellent taste. It's located in a very picturesque part of France and convenient to Rocamadour. Fi loaned us a map and suggested some other local villages and sites that might be of...

The driveway approach is an adventure and the anticipation builds. But wait until you see the vista over the weir; it will take your breath away. This is a B&B with creative and attentive owners whose flair for a rustic but cozy design will give you an experience in the south of France that you will remember always. My husband...

Our third stay here - and we will come back again soon! Peaceful, beautiful and hidden in a secret valley - we saw more kingfishers on the river than people. But close to Rocamadour and other special sites so great all year round. Excellent restaurants nearby including a Michelin Star just down the river.

When staying at Moulin Latreille you don't feel like you are staying in a hotel at all but staying with old friends; Giles and Fi, from the moment you walk in, make you feel so welcome and very much a part of their family. Enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal with them if you choose or dine out at one of...

Our first visit to the Lot and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Moulin de Latreille is a 13th century water mill, built by Cistercian monks. Access is down a bumpy track through some woodland. The Moulin is in a beautiful position in the gorgeous valley of the lovely Oussye river. Surrounded by cliffs and meadows, it...

We stayed at Moulin de Latreille for four nights in mid-September as part of a 2-week visit to France. We are (English) Canadians and have travelled many times in France. Fi and Giles (and Felix) could not have been more helpful, pleasant and fun hosts. We came as guests and felt we left as friends. We only wish we lived...

My wife and I came to Moulin de Latreille for our honeymoon last month and could not have dreamt of a better place. The stunning old mill is set in the most beautiful valley nestled next to the cool, clear river and surrounded by meadows. Fi and Giles (and Felix) hosted us with such warmth and generosity. Fresh croissants, fruit...

We loved it here although it was tricky getting there down the track on our bikes but the next day the owner very very kindly put our bikes in his van and not only took us up the track but much further on our route. The welcome was delightful despite our dusty weary state and we absolutely adored our room...
