Like many other walkers, we only stopped here for one night but we loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner here before going to the Abbey opposite to hear the amazing organ recital from one of the monks there. It is a village hotel steeped in history and tradition but not too commercialised or expensive.... More

At the end of our walk this was a great little hotel to finish off in. With a great view of the church and surrounding country it is brilliantly situated. Everything was good though some hikers depart early making it noisy in the morning!

Booked this for one night as we were listening to a concert in the abbey. Lovely courtyard shaded by wisteria and friendly and efficient service. Room spacious and shower efficient. A beautiful town that is closed to cars but hotel has 4 underground parking spaces which you can reserve. Only disappointment was uninspiring breakfast and appalling coffee from a self... More

This hotel is perfectly located in the beautiful village of Conques. We were in a standard room but this still had a beautiful view of the abbey church. The lady at the reception was most welcoming and extremely helpful. We pre-booked a garage space and, although entry and exit was not easy from the tiny cobbled street, this was well... More

This is an absolutely lovely hotel. We had a "superior" room with a view of the Abbey, and it was much more luxurious than other reviews here had led me to expect. (I'm mystified by earlier reviews that say the Hotel Sainte Foy is rundown or shabby. Perhaps they've renovated in the last few months.) Our room was beautifully appointed,... More

Excellent three star hotel. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Food is the best we have had so far on our Camino walk. The outdoor terraces and gardens are great for relaxing. The room is very spacious with a full bath and separate toilet. King size bed too. Right in the centre of Conques and over looking the Cathedral.

This is a pleasant, straightforward, charming establishment. Our room, #4, was very spacious, sparely appointed, impeccably clean. As always, a separate w/c closet was quite welcome. The view over the street through large windows was directly onto the Abbaye. Breakfast was modest but worthwhile, staff extremely pleasant. WiFi was temperamental but reception in the lobby was fine. (Management should install... More

Really terrific hotel. Great staff who were cheerful and smiling. Not to mention spike great English. It was a welcome relief after a hard day of walking. The terrace was spectacular. Highly recommended. Even for bedraggled walkers not quite sure about previous comment. Perhaps just a misunderstanding

Stopped off here overnight last year whilst walking our first 2 week stage of the Camino / Le Chemin de St Jacques de Compostelle. It was about our 8th day as pilgrims, there was a 40°C heatwave, we were tired..we struggled up the stairs with our rucksacks and socks tied to the back drying (dried long ago in the sun).... More

“WIFI is free but does not reach all rooms In summer, rooms at back would be cooler, and quieter at any time of year, but you sacrifice a bit of the view. However views from all over the village are stunning. Try to go to the evening sound and light in the Abbey. The organ is AWSOME!! But is only on to end of Sept”
